Adina Apartment Hotel Dusseldorf

Our stay at the Adina Apartment Hotel Düsseldorf was exceptional. We greatly appreciated the hotel’s prime location, just a few meters from the train station, tram, and bus stops. This made it easy to explore the city using public transportations and also on foot, including visiting the Christmas markets. The interior was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the apartment was well equipped with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay.

The breakfast offered very limited options and did not meet four-star standards in terms of variety or quantity.

Great location. Apartment hotel is close to the train station and ideal place to explore the rest of the city with the U-Bahn. We stayed in a studio apartment which was well appointed and very quiet. Washing machine and dryer was a welcome feature after travelling for 7 days. Spacious and beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was free due to a technical issue with the pool.

Poor lighting in the kitchen area is our only complaint.

Not close to the main attractions

Really great place to stay. Spacious, modern, comfortable, and close to the main rail station. The first day my shower wouldn’t drain, but once I told the staff they fixed it. The room had great sound proofing of outside noises and was quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Every night at around midnight to 1am there was a loud banging coming from outside my room. I think it was cleaning or maintenance, but not great if you’re trying to sleep. In the end, my sleep was never really interrupted so this was a minor issue.Also, there was no toothpaste and tooth brush and no conditioner.

Perfect! The location is brilliant and we received such a wonderful welcome after a day of travel with delays and cancellations. We let them know it was a stop on our honeymoon and they kindly gave us a bottle of wine. They shared top tips and recommendations. The room was huge and had everything we needed and more. We could cast to the TV, do some washing and even cook if wanted to. The pool, sauna and gym were also fabulous. Thank you.

AC could be better in hot days, garage parking is pricey, it was around euro 25 per day, and no special price for a week or more, you have to pay in full for all days.the pool was closed ! although it is summer and proper maintenance could be planned in winter !

Excellent apartment, modern, renovated, clean, well designed, has everything you may need. Room cleaning service, change towels and refill supplies, once in 3 days - is an additional plus. Reception and extended check-in time until 00:00 was very welcomed. Location is perfect, few steps from Central Station, still not noisy. Really enjoyed staying there.

It is close to the center and is clean. The sauna and gym are nice.

A lot! The check in process took ages because of an new employee who does not know how to use the system. The reception employees especially the one whose names starts with a G is robotic, rude and should not work in hospitality. The baby cot we ordered was not in the room (they confirmed it via Booking and that it will be free). The room was dark, one faint light in the living room that makes it look depressing. The climate control system was off and they only turned it on on demand. The pool is apparently broken for months and will be until 30 June. Why is that not stated previously? They have the pool as the first photo in Booking and it was a big selling point. When we wanted to check out, they wanted to charge us 31 euros, when I inquired they said: one of you had breakfast, I said not. Then another employee came and said did any of you have breakfast? We said no again. They said okay, it is for the baby cot, I said it was for free according to your message. They one employee got angry when he asked me how is your stay and I said not great stating all of the above. Does he expect just a positive feedback? If you ask then expect the truth. A truly terrible experience with a staff that is incredibly inexperienced and rude. We come a lot to Düsseldorf but never again to this terrible establishment!Too bad because we just stayed in their hotel in Frankfurt and it was way better.

The cleaning of bed sets are very bad. The inner cover was losing inside pieces, the same as pillow, even I can smell bad smelling on pillow, like they did not change the bed set.

Absolutely the worst hotel experience I've ever had – and Booking.com made it even worse.I booked this hotel in Düsseldorf ONLY because it had a swimming pool, something my kids were really looking forward to. At check-in, the receptionist casually told us the pool had been out of service for a week. No notice, no apology. When I said the pool was the main reason we booked, I was told to “wait and see” if it might be fixed. It never was.The bed was so uncomfortable it gave me back pain. After two miserable nights, I asked to check out early and get a refund for the unused nights. The hotel refused and told me to contact Booking.com. So I did. Guess what? Booking.com never replied. Not in 24 hours, not ever.The hotel’s solution? Add another mattress on top of the horrible one (slightly better, still bad) and offer my kids free candy in the cafeteria—like that’s going to make up for the broken pool and awful sleep.Booking.com’s silence was the final straw. No support, no care. This entire experience was a huge letdown. Avoid this hotel and think twice before relying on Booking.com.
