Holiday Inn - the niu, Seven Dusseldorf Ost by IHG

Breakfast is way too expensive and we skipped it. 20 euros per person for breakfast is outrageous. We had a nice warm breakfast with eggs, pancakes, and toast including drinks at a nearby cafe for a total of 24 euros for both of us. However if you do eat breakfast, there is an excellent selection and the dining area is very nice. Biggest thing we liked was the 24 hour bar! This is the only pub around the area that stays open

Breakfast was too expensive. Beds were too uncomfortable and easily split apart when moving or sleeping. 15 euros for parking when you are paying member is a little excessive. Especially when there was free parking right next door. I don’t get it.

Hotel is as new, fresh, cozy and clean as can be. Área is sleepy and quiet as it is on the outskirts of the city but Düsseldorf main station is 20 mins away by train. Staff was super helpful. Secure luggage storage on site.

The location is great. It's opposite to the train station and the bus and tram stops are even closer.The bed is comfortable. The room is a bit small but clean and quiet.

Facilities could be better, for example adding a small fridge in the room.

We didn’t have a car but the hotel is 3 minutes walk from the train station and just in front of the metro station. The room was clean, towels are changed daily and the breakfast was good.

It’s close proximity to the train station, the really lovely staff and the delicious breakfast.My room was also very clean and comfortable.I loved absolutely everything.

When I bought my reservation in the Hotel I didn't include a parking, next when I needed to rent a car, it was not possible parking inside the hotel the parking area is to small

The hotel is new and has all facilities I need for a short trip: floor heating, big bed and big bathroom. The location is quite far away from the city center but the train/bus/tram stops are located less than 2 mins walk.

I really liked the location and it has good connection with main train station. Breakfast was also nice and staff was friendly.

It was an easy commute by train to Dusseldorf centre, although some trains had been cancelled which was inconvenient.

There was a little confusion re: our payment as they had recently changed payment systems. Despite checking on several occasions that all was in order this was still queried on checkout causing delays and a little embarrassment. However, in general it was an excellent stay and the staff were lovely to deal with..

Friendly employees, rooms were really clean, train and bus stations are 2min walk from the hotel, wherever i went it took me 10-20 mins, quiet location, bar is at the reception, i really would recommend and i will be back again.

They play some trick on the price. When I order the price shows a discount. However on the day of check in, the price is cheaper than what I paid even without discount

Disappointing

The hotel room was not clean enough. We found hair in both the bathroom and the room. The hairdryer was not working, and the trash bin in the bathroom was broken. While the hotel is conveniently located near public transportation, the surrounding area lacks good amenities. Overall, I was not satisfied with my stay. The staff were also not very welcoming.

Brand new, fresh, modern, clean next to S and U Bahn stop. 5 min journey to Dusseldorf central railway station. Room spacious. Price fair.

I booked it as Holiday Inn, but only Niu names used everywhere, which was confusing. Surroundings of the hotel are, well how to say politically correct, not the most representative. But nothing to do with hotel itself.

Excellent servis, everything was clean. Ladies at the reception desk were there to give me all the infos and help all I needed with a smile on their faces. Breakfast is very good.Will surely come back

Located right next to the train station and tram stop. Very clean, comfortable and pleasing to the eye. The staff is friendly and helpful. Despite being nearby a busy traffic intersection it's very quiet inside, the sound isolation is very good. The built-in Bluetooth speaker in the room - absolutely fantastic addition, thank you!

It is no fault of the hotel however there are no food places or product stores in direct proximity, the closest ones are either on the opposite side of train station or further into the city. The hotel's store at the reception offers instant noodles, but the room had no kettle, that's just weird. Last, but not least, there were no good tv channels - I'm not sure if anyone needs five news channels in french, on the other hand Comedy Central, History and Discovery would be great
