City Flats by Lybeer Hotel Group

It was a very cozy one bedroom flat- great location. Walkable to everything. The main hotel around the corner was easy to find. Easy check in process and friendly staff.

Even though the bugs left a mark on our trip, we had a great time in Brugge. The hostel is located perfectly in the city and breakfast was lovely.

Unfortunately woke up to bed bugs after the first night. We told the receptionist and she gave us the choice to move to another room. After checking the bedding in the new room we found nothing and decided to stay there. Because we had already accepted the fact that we had to take the correct measures (washing and freezing) when coming home.

Property is close to town and an easy walk to everything. It was clean and comfortable.

The WiFi was not working (zero WiFi). Check in process took over 45 minutes due to staff shortage and poor staff management. I was charged twice for the stay due to a misunderstanding that occurred within the staff and the booking agent. While it was eventually resolved, this should not occur. This property manages both a youth hostel and apartment flats, with masses of youth and the commotion of checking in/out it is not a tranquil, organized, or quick process.

Very friendly helpful staff. The studio was small but totally fit our needs. The location was close to everything we needed. Easy walk to the train and right around the corner for everything we wanted to see in town.

The water heater broke while we were staying there, but staff really helped to make it work and made sure we were taken care of.

Great location, Good space.

VERY Poorly equipped kitchen didnt have plates, cups for two just not adequate to self cater at all. Venue doesn't accept uk bank or credit cards so you are forced to pay cash which is not advertised and is not acceptable.

the structure was very beautiful and rustic, in a very strategic position and close to all services.

the structure lacks proper maintenance, next to the bed there are several large holes that could have been closed, under the window there is a large piece of plaster probably detached from humidity. when we arrived at 5pm, the host accompanied us to the apartment and discovered with us that the house was still dirty and not ready, we left our bags and returned after an hour, to make up for it the host offered us excellent beer. The next morning we found a problem with the boiler, we had no hot water and the radiators were off, we called and no one answered, fortunately we managed to stop the cleaning lady from the window, then the problem with the radiators was solved, but in the 3 days we never managed to take a shower, the hot water came for 10 seconds then immediately after icy, always like this at intervals.

Lovely flat very comfortable and staff extremely helpful.

There were bedbugs, we ended up all bitten.The water heater stopped working.

The apartment was cozy and charming. The staff was really nice and the neighborhood and location were beautiful.

Unfortunately, the apartment has a bed bug infestation. We only stayed one night, but found several bed bugs in the bedroom and dining area. There was no staff at the concierge of the associated hostel to notify of this issue (sign mentioned to leave key at the concierge). This really negatively impacted my experience staying at this hostel/flat. Note to traveller's, stay here at your own risk!

The place was nice. I was in a flat, not at hostel, which is the same group, but sharing the hostel facilities, with interesting and multi places people. Could leave lugagge during the day, have coffe and tea by the hostel. There is a refrigerator to be shared by all hosted, with a owner sticker. Very friendly.I have been really pleased to find this place. When looking for accomodation was not sure regarding location in the city, but any one is good since it's a small place. The old time streets and building are all arround. Just prepare to walk and enjoy.

The only detail to mention, already mentioned in other comments: if your flat is in the 3rd floor, be trained to climb up :). Fortunately I can still climb these stairs :)

Bed with bedbugs

There were bedbugs in one of the rooms we booked. Then we were moved to another property that was mid renovation and in the end the staff only offered complementary breakfast as a compensation.The only redemption is that the lady at the front desk at midnight did the best she could by herself given the situation

The staff were very helpful

There was no plug for the kitchen sink,and only a small sponge to clean everything in the kitchen

The breakfast was presented well.. big variety.. very fresh.. coffee great.. loved it!!!

The first bedroom had bed bugs.. so we were moved upstairs.. given free breakfasts which was yummy!! But we were accommodated immediately when we told the office!!

We had no hot water for one day but staff very responsive - boiler was at low pressure so I feel this should have been a routine maintainance checkWe had ground floor flat so windows directly onto the street and didn’t feel we could leave windows open at night

Lovely spacious apartment. Clean & Bed very comfortable. Very close to the centre. Very happy, we booked a couple more nights after arriving.

Had to climb steep narrow stairs before I could turn the lights on. They were outside my apartment.Internet did not work

It was quirky, clean and comfortable. Also well equipped for a studio flat.

The stairs were steep, winding and narrow with the light only half way up.
