- Canal view was nice. Good value for money
- Nice room with a good view with the canal right beside our window. Short walk into the city centre
- Perfect location, just around the corner from the big parkade, easy walk to restaurants and attractions. The staff was accommodating, the room was clean and quiet. Right in the courtyard, and direct access a nice outdoor sitting area. The beds were fine and decently comfortable. The breakfast was great!
Cons -
- Breakfast was very limited. only boiled eggs a few more basic items.
- Breakfast could have had some more food options but for the price it was adequate.
- Stayed in the courtyard room. While overall the room was fine, the bathroom window didn’t have a covering, meaning you could see another room’s window.

Location , breakfast and view
Heat and barhroom door
Quiet hotel on the east side of downtown Bruges. About a half hour walk from the train station. Good location for adventuring Bruges by foot. Plenty of shops, restaurants and sightseeing within a 15 minute walk. Beautiful time of year to visit Bruges as the towers, churches, and buildings (many with a mid-evil vibe) are all decorated and lite for the holiday. The Christmas markets are also open so a great opportunity to do some holiday gift shopping.
There were no staff available at any time so good luck getting questions answered. I never talked to anyone with the hotel during my 3 day/night stay. That seems pretty weird.
The location was excellent, staff were very helpful & friendly. River location was beautiful,
Everything was perfect. The hotel receptionists gave us useful informations and was really helpful and kind. The view to the canal is absolutely good. Really recommend the hotel!
Location and Breakfast close to everything . Very friendly and helpful staff . Nice clean rooms
Excellent area. Quiet. Short walk to Markt. Public transport.
Part- time front desk. Unclear what would happen in emergency.
The breakfast is really good. You can have coffee, tea or orange juice, boiled eggs or even crepes, salami, cheese, jams and chocolate cream, cereals and fruit yoghurt. Also the croissants were delicious. The plates and cups were clean. Easy check in. We could access the building with the code and saw our name on the shelf and took our key. Our was on the second floor with street view. There is an elevator so we didn't have to use the stairs. Location is really great. It was 4 mins walking to the city Hall and 5 mins to the Belfort. There was a supermarket Called comarkt just 5 mins walk. The room was clean, the bathroom was big enough. The hot water was really fast and hot. The room was not cold, in contrary to the comments here, it was hot enough. We never felt cold even though it was cold and windy outside. I think nobody here has a right to complain about the shampoo and hair conditioner. Because it is already written on booking.com that they are not free of charge. Learn to read the descriptions. Also there was a little soap to wash hands and two toilet papers and clean towels.
The height of the bed. I'm 165 cm and I had to climb the bed. I can't say it was a comfortable bed.
I don’t like anything this property.
Our first night approximately 02:00 one man started to cry very loudly and he was knocking all doors. We were traveling 3 girl and this is very uncomfortable situation for us. We can’t do anything this time because they don’t have reception. We wait and we can’t sleep due to the morning. Morning i sent mail via booking about this problem today 3 days passed they didn’t any response!
Great hotel, easy and comfy. Although there’s no 24/7 reception, the overall check in and out process was great, easy and smooth. I was hesitant at first but I actually really loved it! Would definitely recommend. Breakfast included is actually a plus in the experience.
My room had a partially obstructed view of the canal due to construction work on the hotel (not a big deal). Floor work in the hall was also being done (but no issue with construction work noises. Just a low in terms of aesthetic or hotel readiness for the summer).
I didn’t like anything it was the worst hotel i ever seen
The reception isn’t exist and room wasn’t complete canal view no shampoo, no toilet paper, nothing at all I called the emergency phone and they hanged the phone while i was speaking
The hotel is very nicely located. The bathrooms were large and the beds were comfortable. Very short walk to the main square.
There wasn't any air conditioning, which would have been fine if there weren't people sitting in the courtyard and chainsmoking for hours at a time. We were unable to open our windows without getting a room full of cigarette smoke. We had to be uncomfortably hot for several hours in the evening until the people who were chainsmoking went back to their room. I have asthma so opening the window with the smoke was not an option for us. It would be nice if the courtyard that is surrounded by rooms with windows that people need to open would be a smoke free area.
Near to the canal, great check in / check out process. Value for money
Nothing as such
Location
No air condition, no fan. To open a window means to welcome all flies and mosquitoes. Got bitten everywhere. No service at all. Funny shower made from the closet.
Location was excellent nice and clean.
Room to small
Incredible location, directly on a canal (with views), easy walking to major historical sites in Burges. Bus stop immediately outside from door made for really efficient travel to bus and train stations. SUPER helpful staff. Charles and Gita are top notch. Nothing over the top but tasty, high-quality breakfast food and coffee. Very clean room and premises. Local grocery store just 100 or so meters from hotel. Perfect for the self-sufficient visitor, given the hands off, but very responsive approach to guest services management. Dozens, upon dozens, of restaurant, bar, pub, and retail options. Will certainly stay again and recommend.
I did not recall upon arrival that the room did not have coffee/tea service (machine) automatically included with room. Resolved quickly upon request.
The hotel has a lot of potential but needs to complete the updates.
The gentlemen that checked us in was not very pleasant. You luggage storage needs to be a secure unit, maybe with coded lock. When we got to our room there was 2 empty beer cans left there as well as a used bar of soap...not to cool. We placed them on the patio table!!There was 1 chair in the room for 2 people, so we took a chair from the patio. Even when we left a do not disturb tag on our door, someone entered our room and removed the additional chair and left a note calling us thieves! This is not acceptable! A thief takes an item and leaves with it. The chair never left the property. If you have 2 people in a room you should have 2 chairs! The floors in our room where not laid properly, they where coming up.Our door opened outward and you could not securely lock it even with a deadbolt.
