Excellent location and neighborhood, curated spaces, dreamy hotel, exceptional taste with the most hospitable owners, lovely boutique, wonderful view, could not ask for more than this.

The view from the suite was lovely. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hot chocolate as a welcome drink was the best hot chocolate ever!Love the decoration and all the details.

The coffee machine didn’t work in one of our rooms.

We did not have breakfast but it was offered in the dining area, we walked through and saw some of the meals that other guests were having and it looked delicious.

Everything about this hotel was setup for the best guest expereince.

Beautifully decorated property. The host is lovely and patient explaining the history of the hotel. The staff couldnt be any more helpful.

We asked for a room with a double bed but unfortunately it was 2 single beds pushed together which meant that either of us falls into the middle crevice during the night. Im used to a hard bed so the mattress was too soft for my liking.

The staff were so personable that nothing was too much trouble but were not overly intrusive. Breakfast was outstanding. Very relaxed inside, with plenty of seating and open fire. Checking out after our stay was not rushed and there was no need to vacate our rooms early.

The Van Cleef provides an exceptional level of comfort and service in an unbeatable location in the heart of Brugge. The staff are quietely efficient but always welcoming and helpful, the breakfast is simply sensational.

The location on the canal was lovely, also it was a small distance away from the bustling crowds which was nice. It was an oasis of calm inside, exquisitely furnished.

We spent two nights at the hotel. We could not have asked for more. It’s a family run hotel that does its very best for one to feel at home. Its luxury with character. Charming interiors, very well decorated and an awesome staff. The attentiveness is beyond most experiences we ever had. It’s a small hotel in a quiet part of town. 5 minute walk to all the attractions of Bruges. And steps away from a beautiful jogging route. Breakfast in the morning is great which makes for a great start to the day. Thank you Hotel Van Cleef. PS: If you are looking for a busy lobby, big groups of people, and the snazz of expensive cars parked outside, this is not for you.

Small family run boutique hotel with 5 star service, located in the quiet corner of Bruges.Always made to feel at home, exquisite decor, clean, with an exceptional courtyard where we had our breakfast by the canal.

There was nothing we didn’t like. It was the best stay we experienced in our 6 week European vacation.

Love the terrace overlooking the Canal / river. Great car parking, great quirky interior designs.

Amazing location right on the canal with a superb deck. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable even with our 6 month old baby.

Absolutely wonderful! we had a glass of champagne / lager and a special heartshaped 30th Anniversary cake/belgian biscuit waiting for us when we arrived! XXXThe Breakfasts were stunning...fresh fruit & juices, sweet pastries, bread varieties, toast, bacon, sausage, eggs,(cooked exactly as you prefer..boiled, fried, poached etc,) , and omelettes if you fancied!

Everything about this beautiful hotel ,including the Staff, was fabulous for us, we wholeheartedly recommend this fabulous establishment! XXX
