The hotel is located in the heart of Bruges, one street back from the main shopping strip. I was able to explore the area easily from my hotel as well as find plaenty of places to eat.

The stairs were very steeeo, especially after a long day of walking.

    7ChristinePosted on: 5-28-2025

Location was excellent, right in the historic centre of Bruges. Nearby bakery was fantastic.

It was a little hard to find, tucked away down a quiet street, but google maps helped with that. But that area is a rabbit warren of streets. No obvious option to "do not disturb". No option to have assistance with bags up to 3rd floor for someone with a cane. Not handicap friendly

Perfect location to get anywhere you need to go. Approx 10mins to main square and station. Shops and restaurants all nearby. The lady on reception was very welcoming and very knowledgeable of the area, very helpful on where to go, what to see. Good to do a walking tour the first day then you can decide what you want to spend more time doing.

Hostel next door a little noisy at night unfortunately. The hotel is a little old fashioned so not for you if you prefer modern and sleek rather than quaint.

Quaint somewhat old fashioned hotel with modern bathrooms and air conditioning. A bit of the old with modern conveniences.

No elevator, but that was also part of its charm.

Perfect location, nice and cozy staff, we couldn’t try the breakfast, due to our schedule and because we wanted to enjoy the fantastic weather, but we would liked it , everything perfect ???

Great location in a quiet street.

Staying on the third floor meant lots of stairs(65) But from the room had a very good view over part of the town.

Location excellent, walking distance to all of the sites and on a quiet street. We booked a little last minute and compared to other offerings in the city it felt like good value for money. Check out on the early side but we could leave our bags at the hotel all day.

Could hear our neighbors pretty loudly through the walls but thankfully they didn’t stay up late! Bathroom floors could have been a bit cleaner.

Breakfast was great. The hotel was very well placed for visiting Bruges.Bed was comfortable and the room was clean, had a safe, kettle and TV, which we didn't use. No milk was provided but we could have asked. No lift so the stairs may be challenging if you're not very mobile, but it's a smaller hotel so couldn't really expect oneOwner was there when we arrived just before 8pm, after we were delayed but she was very cheerful and helpful. We kept them up to date with our situation, en route. She was great with advice and very helpful.Would go again.

We didn’t have breakfastLocation was great

Difficult to get them to open the door when we arrived. 47 steps to our bedroom. Nobody offered to carry our cases. We are 67 & 70. We were not given a receipt for the €24 for city tax. Upon leaving they demanded the €24 again. Thankfully Bob took control as I am not good at confrontation. Hair drier didn’t work. Wardrobe couldn’t open as bottom of the bed was too close to its door. No soap in the downstairs toilet. ?

The hotel is quaint family run small hotel with a very friendly and helpful host! She went above and beyond in finding the right adapters when ours didn't fit. The hotel is within walking distance from the train station, the churches, belfrey tower, the chocolate museum, shopping and many restaurants. The shower was amazing with personal products provided.

The outlets are old, so ask for help with adapters. There are stairs, so be aware that the treads are a little narrow but very doable.

Very clean. Slightly old fashioned but cosy and warm. Very conformable bed. Great shower. Great location.

    Nothing!

    7GaborPosted on: 2-8-2025

Location is wonderful! Near to the heart of the city.Old fashioned, but comfy room. Bathroom was renovated, which is perfect!

Breakfast could not be ordered after the booking extra. Extra fee has been raised, because of the late arrival unfortunately. Getting an invoice at the end was not easy, but finally we could get negotiate on it. So it is positive for sure.

    8IgorPosted on: 1-16-2025

Comfortable, big rooms, in a quiet street in the city centre, less than 5 minutes away from a big underground parking garage. All in all, good value.

Construction workers on the neighbouring building woke us up a few times.

    9CarolynPosted on: 1-11-2025

Great breakfast with freshly baked bread. It is within easy walk of the underground carpark. The staff were so friendly and helpful; we wanted for nothing. Looking forward to booking again next year

Brilliant and friendly host, great location as it was an easy walking distance from the main sites of the city and from the main train station, and clean and comfortable accomodation - would return again and would highly recommend!

    10ThomasPosted on: 12-13-2024

Great location, minutes from the station and the Christmas markets. Our host was very warm a d welcoming. She gave us tips on getting around and places to eat.I highly recommend!

    10KatePosted on: 12-7-2024

Comfortable beds. Clean rooms. Charming building in a great location close to the market square and a 10min walk from the station. Hosts were very friendly and had a lovely continental breakfast for 19€pp.

Nothing to dislike. Just note that there are stairs up to the rooms so might not be great for those with mobility issues.
