Hotel Ter Duinen

The communication with the staff was excellent. Once I made my online check in I received a digital key to access to the hotel and my room. This was amazing! The breakfast in the morning was good, and the croissants are delicious.

Unfortunately the heating system in the room was a little bit noisy.

Location, staff and overall the whole place. We went for my girlfriend birthday, they helped me to get flowers for her waiting for us in the room.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. Recently it changed hands when the previous owners retired … it is still very good but we do miss the personal family touch. Having said that we will be back again! Friendly staff, good facilities (the new owner had upgraded the bathroom our room), good breakfast & lovely canal views. Private parking is also a plus.

The location was perfect! Far enough from the centre to be quaint and close enough to make it convenient!! We loved the walk along the canal to the centre! The staff were very welcoming and friendly - sharing their recommendations in the local area. The room was modern, comfortable and had everything you need. The breakfast facilities were excellent and I liked that you can pick your breakfast time slot! Would definitely recommend!

Nothing - excellent stay!

This was our second time staying here and was just as perfect as the first time. Clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast lovely. We was there for the Christmas markets this time and the hotel is a nice short walk from where the events are.

Charming Stay, Excellent Service!​We had a wonderful two-night stay here and highly recommend it!​The hotel is perfectly located. While not directly in the city center, it's just a pleasant 10-minute walk through some really charming, quiet streets, which we actually preferred.​The staff was truly exceptional. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They were always willing to provide great information about local attractions and what to see in the city. We even received a lovely complimentary room upgrade, which was a fantastic surprise!​The breakfast selection isn't huge, but for a short two-night visit, it was perfectly adequate and kept us going.​Overall, a great experience. We would definitely choose this hotel again!​

We appreciate the upgrade and enjoyed the canal view and sumptuous breakfast. We really enjoyed Bruges, the picturesque town, beautiful architecture, cobbled streets, rich history, and delicious chocolates! Until next time!

Lovely updated traditional property with a great location in front of the canal and close to the centre of Brugge and there is a supermarket nearby if needed. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Maybe more options for breakfast to make it an excellent breakfast.

Staff was wonderful from the moment we checked in. Room and facilities were very clean. Breakfast was wonderful with a number of selections (hot: eggs and bacon, cold: meats, cheese, yogurts and fruit, and multiple bakery items along with cereals). Not a concern for us, but is a 15 minute walk to the center with its location in a quiet neighborhood. There is a bus stop a few steps from the front door.

It’s a beautiful and very comfortable hotel. The rooms are spacious, with a great bathroom and shower. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

I had a wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious, with a nice variety to choose from. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the city center. Most importantly, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. What a very special, magical place. We adored the location and all the ambiance! The staff is amazing- super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is wonderful - whether we chose inside our out. We loved how they left croissants ? out for us to snack during the day. There was even a convenient vending machine for drinks and snacks at any time. There are two markets within close walking distance, and it was easy for us to walk into the city center, even with my 4 year old son. The bed was super comfortable, and we just adored the canal view. We come to Bruges often and think we have found our favorite hotel. We look forward to returning next year! Thank you for an amazing stay.

Clean modern, beautiful setting with a garden patio for eating, just lovely.

A wonderful staff. Pleasant and professional young ladies who spoke multiple languages. Nice little hotel comfortable and good free breakfast. The number 2 bus stops in front of the hotel. You can fly to Brussels take the IC train downstairs direct to Brugge station then take the 2 bus to the hotels front door. We had the room with the balcony and a canal view

The quadruple room we had was missing basic facilities. No shower curtain, place to hang used towels etc. After breakfast, there was no possibility to have a coffee or even water in the foyer downstairs, which is a pity as it’s a great area to just chill in the sun and relax after a day in the city.

The hotel has a great location within easy walking distance of the centre of Bruges and overlooking a quiet canal.The bus from the train station stops very near by.The staff were all very friendly and helpful.The room was clean and bright with a comfortable bed,excellent shower and air conditioner The breakfast was outstanding with hot and cold options as well as a variety of breads and croissants which you could eat in the dining room or in the very pleasant courtyard.I would definitely stay here again.

We loved everything about our stay. Room was clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We forgot to reserve our parking space but the lady who checked us in (unfortunately i forgot her name) was kind in explaining where the car park was and which space we would be allowed. Breakfast was tasty with good selection. Decent walking distance from the main market square. We will definitely be back!
