The location is perfect, very close to the main sightseeing places. We did not see the staff many times, but they were friendly, Kind, and hospitable.

Our hosts were brilliant, they couldn't do enough for us and gave us really useful local information. The location is brilliant - just a 2 minute walk from the main market squares.
We liked the location a lot.
The property is in need of updating. It’s an older building, but some necessary updates would make it much more pleasant. There was a kettle and some sugar and tea in the room , no coffee packets. The TV screen (which we don’t normally use but an example of the amenities) was maybe a 18inch screen . The reception we received was off to a bad start when the owner/host reminded us that this is Europe and the first floor means “take the stairs” and he wanted to complain about American politics.
House in perfect condition and Victoria make you feel you are at home with family, will recommend this place to all my friends visiting Bruge!
Hostess is very nice. A Peruvian woman very polite and concern about your staying. She will help you with concerns. Breakfast buffet was good and the hotel is in a perfect location

Loved this hotel, the hosts were lovely and the overall feel of the hotel was great. Wonderful continental breakfast in a cute dining room. We loved the location, just around the corner from many cafes, bars and some of the most photographed areas of Bruge. Would stay there again if we come back to Bruge.
The bed mattress didn't stay on the base to well.
Hotel Botaniek is located in a lovely part of Bruge, very close to the centre but quiet & residential. The hotel is perfectly equipped and very clean. The hosts are very friendly and our family room was perfect for our 2 and 4 year old boys. It wasn’t easy to find a family room in Bruge but this was brilliant. If you need a family room, look no further!
We had two rooms booked ..two twin bed rooms ..we got two double rooms. Hairdryer not working ..room outdated..breakfast very poor ...
The owner is very funny, positive guy with great advices about the city! Thank you very much for your hospitality! And about the location? 1 minute from the center and main canal!
