No ac and there was a heat wave. Opened windows and there was bird poop on sills. Also got bitten overnight

Staff was very kind

They have a energy save system that makes anything turns off about every 2 min, was horrible because you can’t take even a shower and the lights (the room was dark and needed light) turned of, the water got cold.

It presented well as a heritage building. Very comfortable bed. The breakfast that was included with our stay was excellent. Nice courtyard in the back. Our room faced the street and had a good view. Hard working efficient staff.

Loved the quaintness of the hotel and the location worked perfectly. We only met one lady working there, and she was very friendly and accommodating.

Beware of the stairs, especially if you’re in one of the cozy rooms on the top floor. We despised the “bath,” as there was no shower. When you stood in the tub, you hit your head.

Close to the center. Easy to walk around anywhere.

The rooms are very old and the bed covers are old.

Excellent location, huge and comfortable bed, breakfast had lots of options. I appreciate that our breakfast table was always set with a high chair for my baby daughter.

Wonderful location. The building itself is awesome. Tasty breakfast, the room should be a bit larger, though. Bed is AWESOME!

No elevator so carrying suitcases up a few flights can be a chore upon arrival and departure.

The location of the hotel is excellent, close to all the major landmarks.

Hauling the luggage to the third floor was challenging as the hotel does not have an elevator, but for a building constructed in 1661 it is understandable.

Conveniently and beautifully located, great breakfast, quiet at night, cozy, very clean.

Mattress was too soft for me personally and stiff stairs might be a problem for people traveling with larger luggage.

I booked a hotel for one night, and it was a great experience. The location is wonderful in a historical place, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and nice. The next day we went down for breakfast, and it was also perfect. Small cozy room served with everything needed.

No AC - I missed that going in. We were lucky to have a room with cross ventilating windows. Windows wide open - no problems with bugs though.

Central location with easy access to both the old town and train/bus station. Very friendly staff.

The hotel is in an excellent location within easy walking distance of all the main sights. The owner was very friendly and the breakfasts were excellent.

The hotel is very cosy and well located, in a very picturesque area. It has free coffee and tea, and biscuits, a very cute garden and comfortable rooms. Good value for price and an authentic Bruges experience. You can also leave your luggage at the reception if needed. The lady there was very nice.

Just FYI, if you have large luggage, there are a lot of narrow stairs and maybe ask for a room on a lower floor as there is no elevator.

Small hotel more like a house than a hotel. Great location and rooms were clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast with a large variety of items. Good value for price paid. No lift so if you have mobility issues request a room on lower floors.

The location is great and close to both the train station and the centre. We could reach everywhere within walking distance. The lady at the reception allowed us to early check-in and change our room to an available room even though we arrived early.
