- Location. Breakfast was ok.
- The breakfast was great. Our train was leaving early our last day and the staff accommodated us by allowing us to eat 30 minutes prior to opening.
- Beautiful little hotel with amazing breakfast, kind staff and all kinds of charm.
Cons -
- The reception staff was rood and wasn’t helpful at all.. there is no elevator! i asked help to give us a room in the ground floor for my parents but she refused and gave them in the third floor.. which was very difficult to reach their and to carry the luggage .. the furniture very old and used.. there is no phone in the room.. i will never ever recommend it to anybody…
- Bed. The mattress felt uneven, being softer on the left side, and it was not comfortable. There was dust in the bathroom, including on the shelf where cups and toiletries are kept, as well as in the bedroom on the wooden floor and under the bed.The toilet got clogged one night, but the receptionist promptly unclogged.
- The A/C could have been better although the weather was hot.

The ambiance, staff, location, breakfast were all very welcoming.
Can't think of anything
Historic building on a canal, very pretty, good breakfast, great and helpful staff. Quiet area, but still very close to the center (10 min walk). Parking also 10 min walk (can park on the street too but expensive for overnight).
The location is perfect and the setting on a canal is gorgeous. It's close enough to the center of Bruges but not so close that the neighborhood feel busy or chaotic. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
It was just ok.
Hôtel is extremely far from the train station and not super close to anything. One of the réceptionists was a Little rude.
Hotel Ter Brughe is charming and full of character. Visually it was beautiful. Loved our window over the canal. The bed was soft and exactly how I like it. We were there during the Christmas season but I imagine it would be even more beautiful in the summer.
Did not feel it was clean enough, dust around the room, was stuffed up and coughing after the first night. Also there was an issue with the drain in the bathtub, wouldn’t drain until the water was turned off. I feel like the furniture in the room was too large and bulky, taking up a lot of space and making the room seem smaller. Overall we still had a generally positive experience.
The breakfast was nice. The superior room is lovely - no way to shower as there is only a bathtub, but since I’m a bath person I didn’t mind. The hotel is in a quiet area away from central town.
For a four star hotel- beware their customer service lacks. Per policy they won’t help with bags (and there is no elevator) or do late check out (even if there is availability). The booking.com platform didn’t note this or I wouldn’t have booked here. Very strong fragrance used in the room- it smelled nice but overwhelming and made me sick.
Everything was perfect, the room is beautiful and clean with a beautiful view of the canal, great breakfast, very nice staff. The bed is comfortable. Location is walking distance from the market and all attractions. There is no elevator but it is was not a problem for us. The Hotel vibes takes you back in time to live real experience of Bruges
Very close to the Belfry building and market. Rooms are clean and cosy. Staff is polite, and they have a 24*7 bar open on the ground floor. We were given early check-in at 11 a.m. itself. Overall, highly recommended.

Comfortable beds
Not clean I found old bandages inside the room on the floor , they didn’t provide paper towel after cleaning, they didn’t ask for passport or ID which is weird.
The historic building the rooms the breakfast
Well since it’s and old building you could here the bathroom lavatory drain sometimes specially during night
Standard internacional breakfast, but fresh ingredients and cozy ambience. The hotel is a walk distance from major touristic places and restaurants. Very friendly staff and interesting renovated building.
The hotel was in a nice quiet neighborhood. Very easy to get around.
I didn't like that there isn't an elevator
A very cozy, clean hotel. The staff is friendly.Special thanks for the little gift at checkout.
The only thing is that there’s no elevator, but that didn’t spoil anything for us.
I have stayed at this property before and returned because of the location and I love the intimate feel of the hotel. The rooms are very spacious and each is unique. And there is a beautiful outdoor garden courtyard. Not to mention the fantastic staff.
Room, vintage, with a lot of wood, wallpaper was wonderful, beutiful view at river.
The room are not very soundproof, it is normal for old houses but some stupid guests made noises all nights...
Great place to experience the Bruges.Very authentic place to enjoy the rich historic legacy of the city.Whole building and its room very cozy and say -- "old times".Comfort bad's, and big bathroom.Nice 24/7 bar with respectable selection of local beer to try.Super convenient location in the center of the city yet quite place.Friendly staff.
Because it's "old-style" hotel: floors is squeaking and entrance door also not the best in sound isolation. As results it's definitely not the place for those who want death silence in the room.
