Excellent host/staff and good location very close to the city center! A nice stay in an old hotel! Would definitely return when going to Bruges.

Air conditioning not really working and filter full of dust and dirt. Rooms could be cleaner. With just a bit more attention to room/facilities quality this can be a great stay!

Great Welcome and location! Historical Hotel in with a very comfortable room for us.

Shower water pressure was very low and temperature changes made it difficult to shower.

Very good location. Staff was very nice, welcoming and helpful. Size of the room was good, comfortable bed.

The only thing which we found not meeting the var was bathroom. It is quite "depreciated". Also had not very pleasant smell

Shower hopeless. Kept going from freezing cold to scalding hot. Had to catch the water on its transition so a 5 min shower took 20 mins. Paid for a canal view and we got a corner of one

Location location location! 3 mins to the square, quiet suburban feel, quiet and relaxed hotel, terrific host; good breakfast if you don’t feel like venturing out? Whilst we couldn’t secure a limited parking space at the hotel the local (8min walk) underground carpark was safe, secure and well lit, costs were reasonable at €18 for 24hours. Intimate yet discrete and discerning at the same time.

Cosy, friendly and felt like homeThe staff were brilliant and knowledgeable. Plus they gave us extremely good recommendations to eat for the 2 nights we were there- places away from main tourist streets

Quaint hotel on the edge of the main market area, a stones throw from canals and eateries, a hop skip and jump from just about everything you'd want to see or do .... They even called us to check when we would be checking into the hotel as we were arriving late... so make sure you warn them if you are running late...

it would have been nice to know there was a deadline to check in, we made it just but was not aware of this... but really not a negative, just a nice to have known,,,

It’s was our second visit location of hotel is excellent and secure market available would highly recommend.

The beds were soft and very comfortable. Room was clean and the beds were made for us each day. The shower had good water pressure. The area was quiet and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was small and a little run down. The fixtures could be modernised inside the room and bathroom.

Rooms were clean and warm. Hotel was walking distance to all the locations attractions. Breakfast was very good The staff were very welcoming/polite and professional and dealt with any of our requests without hesitation

Stefan was fantastic and helped us with everything, super informative and very welcoming. the hotel is in a great location, easy to drive to and walk into the centre of Bruges and bars and restaurants nearby.

Excellent location, large very comfortable bed and very friendly, informative owner. Also good to have tea and coffee facilities and a fridge in the room which you don't usually get in Europe.

The bathroom was a little dated and could do with a refresh but everything worked fine. A cooked breakfast would have been nice. The continental breakfast was good but a little pricey but having said that, I'm not sure what you would have got for the same price outside of the hotel.

The hotel owners are friendly and helpful, they set out on a map for me the layout of the city and recommended sights to see and places to eat. The hotel itself is a quick walk away from downtown, but in an area that is quite quiet. The hotel has a relaxed feel to it and puts you at ease after travelling. The room was comfortable, clean, and exactly what I was looking for in my travels. The on-site breakfast is tasty.

Could do with a plug for sink , so my husband could have a shave. Nothing manger !! We didn’t ask for one!!

Hotel Bryghia is located at Oosterlingenplein 4, Historic Centre of Brugge, Bruges 8000 and is only about 5 mins walk to Jan van Eyckplein and the rest of historic Bruges. It is a hotel located within a historic building though with modern conveniences of a lift and other facilities. The reception has staff during throughout, though the main door needs a code to enter in the late hours. The hotel manager is warm and friendly, and a welcome gift of Leonidas chocolates. The room and bathroom are clean with kettle only. The bed is comfortable. The towels are changed frequently.

The room is small and barely enough space to walk around the bed when the suitcases are open. There is no air-conditioning so the window has to be left slightly ajar with mosquitoes coming in at night. The plaza in front of the hotel can be noisy with tour groups and students from the neighbouring institutions talking. The toiletries are small tubes that are not sufficient.

Great location - within easy walking distance to all tourist sites. Delicious breakfast. Host was very friendly and helpful. Our room had a beautiful view of the town.

Rooms are fairly basic and bathroom a little dated, but the staff are wonderfully helpful, and the location is perfect for exploring Bruges
