    • Warm and inviting lt was like a small b&b with modern updates, yet charm of an older hotel. Owner was wonderful!! Will stay again!!
    • The staff were wonderful - very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious and served in the lovely courtyard in the center of the building. The hotel is in a great location. I would stay there again.
    • This is a fantastic property! Located in the historic center, the hotel is charming as well as having modern conveniences. The host is wonderful. Our stay was enhanced, thanks to her high quality service and the perfect breakfasts each morning. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Bruges.

    Cons -

    • No room sleopers
    • Ask for a garden view room if you are a light sleeper. On the weekend our city facing room was noisy.
    • The only problem is parking but this is an issue in most of Brugges so not a fault of the hotel. My advice is to park at the Station and bus, taxi or walk back. The owner was very helpful and rang a taxi for us.

Charming small hotel. Great location. Delicious breakfast. Wonderful innkeeper. Highly recommended.

Perfect location, extremely welcoming and helpful lady owner, lovely buffet breakfast and a lovely clean room.

We a loved our stay, everything was superb. Our hostess was so kind and helpful. Breakfast was fabulous and the location couldn't be any better to walk around Bruges. What a gorgeous city!

Very close to Market Square, great location! Owner/Operator was so friendly and welcoming. She gave us so many helpful tips, since it was our first time in the village. Place was clean and breakfast was great. We would have stayed another night if there was availability.

The staff was excellent, warm and welcoming. Extra effort was made to book our group together; we had a total of three rooms. The beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast included fresh squeezed orange juice. And the location could not be better. We were introduced to all the things to do in the area and given a coupon type book, upon check-in. This location is walking distance to everything. We could easily park our large car in a nearby underground parking garage.

Location, owner, breakfast in the garden.

Enjoyed the lovely breakfast in the garden. The inn keeper was helpful in determining options for restaurants.

    10MichaelPosted on: 6-6-2025

The owner was welcoming and took the time to offer suggestions for sightseeing in Brugges, as this was our first visit. The hotel is charming, was a couple of blocks from the main square and the free shuttle from the train station drops off right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was wonderful and the garden view from the dining room was calming.

The room was comfortable; the shower great. The breakfast was excellent and the hostess welcoming and helpful.

    No complaints whatsoever.

Lovely property with beautiful private garden and fantastic breakfast

Stairs awkward for some older people

Great breakfast with seating in the garden. The hotel's location is great and we parked in their garage, which worked well for us.

Wish the hotel had air-conditioning as the weather was unseasonably warm when we visited. We used the fan in our room to stay cool.

I stayed 4 nights with my family (wife and 14 y/o kid) and it was wonderful. Veronique is the most helpful, available and lovely host. Everything was absolutely clean. The room had good space, the shower was good, and the breakfast as well! The location is perfect, and there's a public parking right around the corner. I recommend it, and I would definitely stay again!!

There's nothing I didn't like. Everything was perfect!!

Wonderful cappuccino and breakfast. They changed bed configuration to meet our needs.

The owner/manager was cooperative but gruff in her manner. She refused to send me two items that I accidentally left in the room.

Our stay at Hotel Algeria was truly like a small BnB. The location was very central and our hostess greeted us throughout the day and shared helpful information:) The smell of croissants, natural light, view of the garden and full homemade breakfast buffet was a perfect way to start each day. Our room was lovely and we used the garden for a picnic in the afternoon. I enjoyed the shop below and have a beautiful scarf to remember our stay!❤️?❤️Our hostess was very helpful arranging dinner reservations, unusual excursions and a taxi to the train station.
