Pros +
- The pool, the bed was very comfortable, staff were very friendly
- The location is perfect and a short walk away from bars, restaurants, shops and main attractions. The staff were lovely and were great at organising my fiancé's birthday decorations in the room, the hotel itself is super cosy, we loved the bar area and breakfast was a great selection!
- The staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The chocolates when we arrived and the small gift when we left, really added value. The room was cozy and clean, and the location is great; just a few minutes’ walk from the center.
Cons -
- We would have liked to have cooled the temperature in the room as we couldn't leave the window open due to us being on the ground floor, our window backed out onto a street and it was low level so anyone could have climbed in. The air-conditioning worked for a short time after we asked reception but didn't turn back on - maybe some security bars would be a suggestion so we could leave the window open during the day/night?
- The hotel did not feel like a 4-star property, as the interior felt quite outdated and the rooms were rather small. Our room was also very noisy. Were woken up by cleaningstuff in the mornings and the road next to our room. The swimming pool area is nice, but with only about six loungers available, it was always full during our stay.
- I presume 239 was the last room available. There were big wooden beams, painted white and a huge bed, but the fitted mattress cover seemed too small and repeatedly loosened from the corner of the bed and drove me crazy in the night. The chandelier and the weird canopy over the bed just added to the eccentricity. I can't say it was awful, but if you get allocated room 239, maybe ask if there is another room available.

It's not in the historic centre of Brugge, but very close. The room was eccentric to say the least, up in the attic. The bathroom was lovely, there were chocolates provided on arrival and there was a mini-bar. Pity the television was out of order in the hotel the night we were there. The bed was huge but the bedclothes too small for it. The breakfast was great.

Room was nice.. breakfast was great.. enjoyed the pool and great location
parking was a bit expensive...
The staff were incredible, genuinely happy to help with any queries. The customer service was fantastic. The location was also great, with easy bus access to the station.
Genuinely nothing, it was such a greay stay.
Quiet, friendly staff
Not too clean and too far from centre
Amazing location, very close to the city center.Comfortable beds. The swimming pool was wonderful too.Staff is very kind.
Our room was very comfortable. Our stay was only 1 night in the end as my son suffered an allergic reaction to eating nuts so we decided to get back to the UK. The cooked breakfast was really good and much enjoyed. The pool was ok but quite small. Hotel well placed for seeing the sights in Bruges. The toilet in our bedroom.had mould on the ceiling but itherwise the bathroom.facilities were adequate.
Everything was lovely - the staff were SO helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the indoor pool was an added bonus!
There seemed to be a buzzing noise in our room which we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. My partner didn't hear it but I did but it was probably one of those things!
Nice pool and good location , staff very friendly
No towel rail
Very friendly welcome. Lovely, spacious room, very clean. Small but well stocked gym, nice pool area. Breakfast was wonderful, very relaxing atmosphere. All staff were very helpful.
Shame there wasn't a restaurant but the walk into town was short and pleasant where there are lots of places to eat and drink to choose from.
Staff, venue, swimming pool
One of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had. Lovely well presented and tasty food with a huge variety of options - would highly recommend. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location for historic city centre. Comfortable and well equipped bedroom. Good swimming pool.
Servicing of room was a little haphazard. Towels were thin and had been washed a lot. More drawer space for clothes would have been helpful.
The staff members were very nice and welcoming. The bed was comfy, the pool was also probably nice, but we didn’t get to test it. Hotel was located close enough to the big square/shops/attractions so we’d enjoy the walk, but we love walking :)
The ceiling on the second floor was kind of low, I banged my head a couple times until I got used to it :)
Comfortable big room. Nice area. Perfect staff
I bit long to walk city
Great location, friendly staff, comfy room
The hotel is very beautiful and wonderfully decorated. There is a bar and plenty of seating in the lobby for guests to relax after a long day out exploring the town. The family room was lovely, the beds were quite comfortable, wide, and very clean, and there was a TV for each room. It was great to get a welcome box of chocolates and wine upon arrival, as well as complementary biscuits upon check out. It is very conveniently located just a few minutes away from Bruges Town Centre and had a bus stop nearby which we used to travel to and from Bruges train station. But it’s also easy and relaxing to walk to and from the station if needed. The swimming pool was great also. The staff were immensely helpful and very friendly as well, especially Isa who helped us check in and was happy to answer any of our questions. The other staff who took care of us were also very lovely as well.
It would be great if there was a telephone in the room so it’s easier to request extra toiletries/coffee from staff without any need to go to the lobby. Also the coffee cups need to be checked as there were two unclean cups upon arrival unfortunately.
Clean, large room, friendly staff and gifts including chocolate and red wine.
Clean and comfortable, just a short walk to the centre
No USB charger in the room (although a helpful staff member found an adaptor for me from lost property)
