Motel One Newcastle

Great location,very comfy.Very friendly staff.

Excellent location. Clean and comfortable. Great bar area and outside terrace.

Room was clean and overall good value for money.

We have stayed here many many times and always really enjoyed our stay, however this stay was not as pleasant. The reception staff this time were absolutely appalling and has really put us off booking with MotelOne again. WE have never had rude or unpleasant staff before and honestly the young man that booked us in could not be bothered and was very short with a couple of the ladies in our group.

Great beds and best pillows ever. Very friendly staff and good choice for breakfast

Very central

Clean tidy lovely bar area

Ideal location lovely inside very good value for money staff were amazing

Close to everything, secure and comfortable. Late check out at 12 is very helpful after a hen do!

Wasn’t in the hotel long enough to find any issue.

Great location - very central. Staff were really excellent; friendly and competent. All round I’d say amazing value for money. Breakfast was good for the price.

Rooms are not very spacious.

Love the location. Rooms are clean abd comfortable with everything needed for an overnight stay

Reception girl was very abrupt and rude. Rooms very hot snd didn't know how to turn it down

Room was just what we expected, we have stayed at this hotel before.room was clean and comfortable and bedding nice and clean, location is great in town centre but on quiet street.don't know what food is like as we eat out with friends.would recommend this hotel if my parents was visiting and were looking for somewhere to stay that say's it all.

Location was very good staff were friendly

Breakfast was disappointing as it wasn’t a cooked breakfast

Lovely modern hotel in the heart of Newcastle City centre

Trying to park in the city centre (nightmare) plus the cost of parking which added another £25 to the cost of the stay! but not the fault of the hotel

Very nice reception and bar area, perfect location in the middle of everything and very well priced.

Room was quite dated and I requested things in the room that got approved by the hotel, but as we arrived there was nothing there.

The location was brilliant, the staff were really friendly snd and accommodating and the bar area was lovely.

It was advertised as having air condition but didn’t. It was an air system which did not cool down the room at all, even with the window open. The room was unbearably hot which impacted our sleep. We also moved rooms as the bed tilted backwards (staff were very lovely and accommodating with this and was not an issue).

Modern and nice decor

Room was to hot air-conditioning took a long time to cool down the room but other than that, everything was great

This is our second visit in about 6 months as we like the Motel One chain as it's value for money. Newcastle Motel One is in a great location near the train station, shopping, restaurants and bars. The bed was super comfy after coming back from a concert at the O2 City Hall (within 15 minute walk). The reception area and bar are nicely decorated and nice space to spend time. The bar is open late as well.

NA

The location and the dog friendliness the lovely staff and the fact you can take the dog in the breakfast area ! The home made jams and peanut butter ! Also vegan cheese on request !

The bed was so uncomfortable:( the husband missed a hot breakfast

Staff fav location brilliant clean

Breakfast

Housekeeping—found a pair of dirty socks from previous guest, ironing board provided was not in good condition, my room was never serviced during stay, I was asked upon arrival and I did say not daily clean but the second day was also not cleaned, Motel One standards in Germany higher

Too hot.

The room was far far too hot and we couldn't sleep, that's with the "Air con" on the lowest setting that blows out warm air. Went down to reception twice and no staff were there to ask about it.
