Superb service from the reception staff, who helped so much with my booking error (my fault), and bent over backwards to smooth things over

All fantastic

Room was OK, bed was comfy and dinner was nice.

The curtains in our luxury room were a bit grubby. Can be noisy at times due to location.

Receptionist went above and beyond the call of duty, both on the phone and in person

Breakfast was good

Bed was very uncomfortable, thin bedding. poor quality wifi, only had cable tv, no smart tv. Shampoo and conditioner were horrible. Room service every 3 days? Our room was not cleaned once.

Liked the Service at breakfast all the staff were very friendly and helpful also at reception.We enjoyed the room from the bath and bed which were so nice and bed was very comfy to everything else in our room.

That it was cashless and that the pre authorization wasn't included in the price of the room would of been nice if it came together in the room package to save worrying about extra expenses.

Location Great. 1st Room electricity went off, door would not lock, 2nd room was not what we had paid for 3rd room was OK. water went off Christmas day due to burst pipe. Staff tried to accommodate guests as much as they could due to the situation. Limited breakfast due to no water. staff all seemed very stressed but did the best they could due to the water situation.

The property had fantastic location! The facility was comfortable and staff were helpful.

The room was gorgeous, and very spacious. Great view and the beds were super comfy. Perfect location for the venue also.

When we arrived back in the evening it took us a while to get someones attention to get back into the hotel. Could also have done with somewhere to purchase water/drinks

The hotel its self was very good with nice sized room and very clean.

Unfortunately i had left my phone at home and when I got there my wife had left me a message to call. When |I got to the room the telephone was not working so I went to reception and informed them of this. They said it was an outside contractor who would need to have a look at this and would get them onto it asap. I then asked is there a pay phone or other phone that I could use to call my wife and was met with a straight forward NO.This was very disappointing and I had to then wait until one of my friends arrived an hour later to borrow his phone. Not good customer service at all.

They made us go to another hotel because they were overstaffed. I had the reservation for over 6 months prior getting there

Location, very nice comfy bed.

The car park is managed by an evology app. It does not work . The hotel reception said a few people had been having problems and yet no alternative way to pay . No way of contacting Evology apart from online form , which also did not work . Ruined our day trying to work the app as I know we will get contacted re non payment . Do not use this carpark if you are staying here . Note to Hotel Sort it out !! Reviews on trust pilot for this app are rubbish.

Good location. Good breakfast

Small room

The space was very good, 2 baths, well equipped but beds were small. Small double at best. Stayed a few years ago and beds were definitely bigger so this was disappointing. My mum & I brought my 2 daughters (7&4) and their cousin (7) still not enough room in the beds. Would be tight for a couple. We stayed for 2 nights, coffee, tea & shower gel not replenished. Location is spot on, warm & clean.

Bed size.

The location during the day was great. Plenty of resturants and a large mall nearby. Being next to the train station made it very convenient to get on the train to the roman fort and museums.

The parking app is not avaliable if your Google or Apple store are set to the US, regardless of you using UK data. Additionally the Evology Parking app has essentially no customer service and it took them 2 days to respond to our issues. If you are coming from the US you need to change your Google or Apple store location in your store app to fix this. Parking is 20 quid a day not 10 as mentioned in the question section for this hotel. Our room had very heavy windows which were easy to open and hard to close. Being the UK opening the windows so the room didn't get to warm wasn’t really an issue. Until 2 or 3 in the morning when the locations proximity to the train station meant a lot of drunks are also coming that way and you wake up to shouting.

Location, right opposite the station. Perfect location to explore.Breakfast was very nice, staff could not do enough for us. Very helpful.

Booked a family twin room. 2 double beds. Very uncomfortable, beds were a very small double. Not enough towels (4 guests, only 2 towels).

Central location directly opposite the train station.

Not well insulated from the exterior sound and Newcastle can be very loud. Check in took far too long. Around 30 mins to be seen and then neither key cards worked.

The location is excellent for exploring Newcastle City Center. Easy walk to local attractions. Train station, taxi across the street for day trips and evening adventures. All of the staff were exceptional: friendly, helpful, attentive. Specifically, Dipesh and Sofia went out of their way to answer questions, make sure the in-room safe was working, and coordinate an extra night stay in the same room. Hudson Restaurant offered room service, which was friendly, quick, and tasty.

The menu for room service is limited to pizza and sandwiches. Pasta, soup, and desserts would be a great addition.
