Breakfast good, staff very helpful.Bar friendly and cozy.Large carpark.We held a small buffet for a funeral in the conservatory which was well organized.

The pub / hotel rooms are now in need of a bit of tlc but generally clean and comfortable.

The Staff were Excellent, they could not do enough to make my stay as good as possible. They were charming and very helpful. They made me feel at home... I had a meal in the Bar.... It was a very nice Burger, above what I expected. The room was good, A little small but fine for one night.

It was a little Noisy, and warm, but about what I expected.

Compact rooms with all we needed. Good location for Heaton and the park.

Great location on the coast road. Easy access to town, Tynemouth and Whitley Bay. Great noise cancellation couldn’t hear the road at all. Great breakfast and lovely atmosphere in the bar in the evening

Very comfortable bed. Room was very big and very clean. Since hotel was also a restaurant - food, drinks and entertainment was available without the need to go out.

The shower was fixed in place.Bathroom was several degrees colder than the bedroom.

Booked room only.We did have an evening meal with the family which was good

Small problem with the lights on our last night, we were offered a room swap but declined.

The staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you. Lovely breakfast.

My son and I had checked in and were in the room when 2 men unlocked our room door with a key they had been given - they thought the room we were in was theirs. Something had obviously not been logged as we had already been given a key to that room.My 8 year old son was very upset at this and I was shaken as I did not expect 2 men to be able to access our room.When I mentioned this to a member of staff in the morning she did not seem that bothered.
