- THE LOVELY NIGHT STAFF, Excellent breakfast, Very clean rooms.
- The room was warm and clean. Sadly, it was a bit of a walk uphill from the theatre and the station, but that's not the hotel's fault. It is very well situated and was excellent value for money.
- Location, friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast
Cons -
- THE NOISE AT 5.30AM FROM THE TRAIN STATION. I wear hearing aids and take them out at night & I could still hear the trains starting up & leaving & my husband could hear the announcements too, say no to room 503 & 509.Not very disabled friendly.
- We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. I could hear next door's TV which even has catch up TV.
- No Air Conditioning, Room far to hot even with fan supplied

We have been visiting The Liner for the last 10 years and must have stayed there approximately 30 times so it is our favourite hotel when visiting Liverpool. It is close to the station and town centre and has a certain appeal that we love.
The only issue we had was the hallway to the room had a very strong musty smell (3rd floor,left out the lift) and it felt like it was maybe damp from a flood or similar. The room was ample but maybe needed a deep clean as there was numerous cobwebs .
