The Heathfield Inn

This is a very pleasant building. The staff were very nice and attentive. There was ample private, off-road parking The bathroom actually has a bath TWO comfortable easy chairs ('double' rooms often have only one chair, and not too comfortable either)

I think that their maintenance manager- if they have one - should check rooms before they are occupied. All of the taps in the bathroom required attention

Very cool building. The staff were all fantastic and it’s just a really good pub. The bedroom was really nice and clean and a comfy bed. 10/10 for me

Everything was good except the lack of signage as didn't really know where to go to get tye room key

The bar was packed with only 1 staff member, we had no clue where reception was and hung around for almost half hour until someone pointed out you go to the end of the bar and wait for a staff member to serve you

Great facilities for dining/breakfast. Great bar, gorgeous snug. Massive room and en suite bathroom. Upgrade to four poster bed room was wonderful.Very friendly staff.

Our bathroom had a leak and floor was very wet. We were not warned about it..

We liked the beautiful old building. It was such a surprise to see it amongst the more modern development. Lots of parking and space to relax inside and outside.

The bed was comfortable and the in room tea and coffee tray was generously stocked

We were only told on arrival that the,restaurant was closed from 5p.m. for a function. My husband who is disabled had intended to eat there and take care of our dogs while I was singing in a concert. In the end they had to come with me. The staff couldn't have cared less. Only 2 or 3 rooms were booked that night but they put us in the room directly above the disco speakers. It was very loud and didn't end until at least 11:15 p.m. Breakfast was average at best. Both coffee and tea were lukewarm. The bathroom was tired with a rusty plug in the sink and a loose tile on the floor.

Good location for what I required, bar & food excellent, room very good despite being over the bar area!

I felt, when I saw the sign as I booked that the second evening the Hotel/Inn was booked for a Private weddding reception, no food or bar facilities available - rather annoyed that they had not informed me when they accepted the Private booking! Their alternative for food was that I could order from local restaurants who would deliver! Not very resident friendly!

Location is excellent. Staff very friendly and room comfy.

Traditional breakfast was ok but sausages felt a bit warmed up and pancakes weee supposed to come with fruit compote and didn’t A bit horrified to find out side door to the pub has a broken lock so was accessible by anyone at anytime

Excellent service - friendly, helpful staff, delicious food, clean, comfortable and spacious.

Lovely room nice young man showed me to my room complementary tea /coffee chocolate toiletries, breakfast was ok different man served us didn’t explain much or ask if we wanted anything else, no milk on table with tea would have been a nice touch , and if was friendly . Other man doing hoovering was nice took our key asked if everything was ok .

Clean, comfortable, spacious, welcoming and all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Perfect environment.

Staff were great, food was sound on Sunday night but no breakfast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Room was very good and clean

Could hear loud noices from below and doors banging for hours... it was a Tuesday.Staff not very friendly or helpful, and the chap at breakfast very surly. Coffee was cold. No milk for cereals and 2 old oranges as the fruit option. NO continental breakfast option. Very rigid and unhospitable.The Inn, although very old, is smack in the middle of a housing estate! Not a particularly good experience.

It was clean lovely and nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend
