Located 5 minutes’ walk from Exmouth’s town center, marina and seafront, The Dolphin Hotel Exmouth Ltd has limited on-site parking and free Wi-Fi available in public areas. A flat-screen TV, private bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities are provided in each room at The Dolphin Hotel, as well as a wardrobe for storage. Freshly cooked breakfasts are served in the hotel’s modern dining area, with ingredients locally sourced. Fresh fruit, yogurts and cereal are also available. A wide variety of restaurants and pubs can be found in the local area. Exmouth’s coast is the gateway to the UNESCO Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, and is ideal for watersports such as sailing, diving, kite surfing, windsurfing and kayaking. Ferries can be taken to the historic seaside town of Dawlish, famous for its black swans.

Pros +
- The Hotel has recently been refurbished and our family room was clean, stylish and comfortable. It was also good value for four of us. Being central meant we had some street noise at night but it was very close to the marina and some good restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was efficient with pre-ordering the night before.
- Breakfast was good, room was clean.
- Room was clean and bright. Bed was massive and very comfortable. Slept better here than at home.
Cons -
- The only potential downside is the parking as the surrounding streets are residents only and the Hotel spaces (which have to be reserved in advance) are tight with the potential to be blocked in.
- Towels could have been changed, had to park off site for the last 2days.
- Breakfast starts from 8:30 which feels a bit late. Check out is also a bit early at 10 considering breakfast is 8:30-9:45.
