Pros +
- Great location & tucked away from it all,but only a short drive from Liverpool & Chester.
- Nice breakfast and good serving lady. Good location for where I was working. Staff in the bar was trying hard. It has a degree of charm and will probably be rather nice on a warm summer's evening. It was extremely cheap for what it was.
Cons -
- My third or forth time staying & the room was lovely, but located right next to the ventilation duct from the kitchen. This was very noices & fried smells in my room if the windows where open, with noise until 22.30 & again from 07.00. Not great
- Lounge was rather dowdy, beer in the bar was all cold and fizzy, supper was not very inspiring - I just don't see the culinary merit of a pea plant frond - shower ranged from very hot to scalding, kettle PAT was out of date, room was very creaky.
