The staff were very helpful and often went beyond the call of duty. They were friendly and sympathetic to us at the time of our bereavement.

Super beautiful and cozy building with very kind and welcoming staff. A building with more than 200 years of history. The food at the pub was absolutely delicious.

We loved the peaceful location, excellent service, and the restaurant was fantastic.

The staff were extremely accommodating, receptive and informative. It's the best use of a "pub". Very clean, newly renovated bathroom and quiet. Plenty of parking. Lovely place.

A little piece of quiet English lifestyle in a lovely village and close to amazing historical architecture in Cambridge.

A small minor suggestions to maintenance is to do couple of small repairs - near base of shower and near the sink on the cupboard. These didn’t take away from my comfortable 3-day stay.

Access to the rooms were up a steep fire escape.

The pub was very easy to find and there was plenty of parking space. Our room was in an extension at the rear of the pub. There was a terrace outside with tables but you couldn't hear any noise inside the room. The room was lovely with a good sized bed and sliding doors to a spacious modern shower room. Plenty of storage and there was a fridge in the lobby outside the room where we could get fresh milk and bottles of water. Breakfast and evening meals were fabulous and we were even treated to a glass of 'fizz' each as we were celebrating our anniversary ?

There was nothing we didn't like. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were very friendly.

A lovely stay

Could do with some drawers to put things plenty of hangers and hanging space but other clothes we had to leave in the suitcase.

The room was pleasant and clean.

The sink was so big in the bathroom that it made using the toilet uncomfortable

Issue with drain in shower, but manager made temporary fix for drain blockage, so was OK for the one night I stayed. Needs further investigation...
