About

At The Regent Aparthotel you will be greeted with a fresh, modern but classic look, and gain a kitchenette in your park or city-facing room. We're giving you flexible, easy apartment living with the convenience of a hotel, right in the center of Cambridge. Book now and be one of the first to stay - we can't wait to welcome you. Want to know more? Let’s paint a picture for you. As you come off the lively Regent Street and into the Georgian building, you’re welcomed by the listed staircase winding up the center of The Regent Aparthotel. Head to your left and meet the guest experience team, available until 20:00 daily, who are always keen to give restaurant and attraction recommendations. You’ll have taken your pick from The Classic, The City, The Park, or The Loft, so head up the meandering staircase. Your studio apartment or classic hotel-style room is filled with rich colors and modern shapes. The comfy bed is made with Egyptian cotton sheets, and the hanging side table shelves make the most of the space. The pops of color between the neutral kitchen and private bathroom set a serene atmosphere to rest, work, and cook. If you’re in The City, Park, or Loft, you have a sleek kitchenette in your studio. It’s fitted with a multi-use combination microwave oven, integrated fridge/freezer, a Nescafé Dolce coffee machine, and a stainless steel kettle and toaster. Pretty much everything you need to cook a nutritious lunch and hearty dinner. The bathrooms even inherit our sense of simplicity. They’re walk-in with a rainfall showerhead, and of course feature complimentary toiletries. Every room comes with WiFi access and a modern TV to make your stay as carefree as possible. After all, you’re here to unlock Cambridge. As for the location, you’re right in the center of town backing onto Parkers Piece. Coffee lovers will be pleased to know Starbucks is right over the road, and the independent Bould Brothers is up the road. We’re a Grade II listed building, and while we do benefit from a elevator, it’s quite small. The dimensions are: Entrance: 28 in Width: 40 in Depth: 26 in Height: 106 in If you’ll need to use the elevator and want to speak to the team before booking to discuss accessibility

    Pros +

    • location, staff, decor, view, cleanliness
    • Location and room were great
    • Super kind staff, room was spotless, and the entire space was great. I stayed in the top floor room with the balcony over the park and it was so restful and lovely. Breakfast was just a continental breakfast, but lots of good options and fresh fruit.

    Cons -

    • Breakfast was awful
    • There were some scuff marks on the walls, but it's not a problem beyond aesthetic--everything else was pristine and so nice
    • Breakfast was a bit limited but OK

The room was very nice, well equipped for a mid-term stay. Our room was facing the city, but it was quiet. The breakfast was nice, not to many options, but the hotel thoughtfully provides you with paper cups, bags and other stuff to pack something to go is was very sweet of them. Good value for money.

Nice loft room, clean and spacious with comfortable bed and AC. Excellent location and very nice balcony. Descent simple breakfast.

The shower water pressure was a bit low but more importantly it was extremely slippery. A plastic cover was available but still I think for older people or young kids it may become dangerous.

The room’s view, the staff, and the location.

The room above us had some heavy/loud walkers for one night, but it was much better the next two nights.

    3DeborahPosted on: 7-3-2025

Room was spacious and clean. Located near the heart of town. Beds comfortable. Breakfast fine. Air conditioning worked well. After hours check in went smoothly.

We got in after hours and the shower was lukewarm at best. Turns out they were having boiler issues and needed to restart the system. Same problem next day with the cold shower. Luckily someone was still on site to help. Very upsetting considering the money we paid. Ceiling is paper thin and you can hear every noise above you. Both nights we were there someone was awake above us into the wee hours and it kept us up. I had booked this room eight months in advance and asked for a room on the top floor and did not get it.Do not recommend this hotel. Stay somewhere else.

Perfect location by the park.Beautiful spacious apartment with kitchen and views.Very clean and contemporary.

    7AndrewPosted on: 4-29-2025

Air conditioning, central location, friendly staff, clean

Very simple breakfast(nothing cooked), not a double bed - two singles placed together and short for my height, v expensive stay considering quality of bedding and size of room, balcony area dirty and moss all around, ineffective hairdryer

    9AndrewPosted on: 4-28-2025

Friendly reception staff. Clean room (Loft 21) with small balcony and basic cooking facilities. Bed was comfortable, as were chairs. Good location although no onsite parking.

Flooring was a bit creaky and the door gaps allowed some noise in but only one room nearby so not an issue. Appears to be aimed at people on business for a few days so a little soulless.
