    Pros +

    • Breakfast was outstanding
    • Breakfast was fantastic! Location was central
    • The beds, even being the normal double ones, where comfy as usual. There was a small area for children to play which was appreciated and used a couple of times. The room was supposed to be free at 4 pm as per check in hours ( something that I find extremely late, and the fact that they are suppose to charge £40 extra if you want to make it earlier, doesn’t help at all), but thanks fully it was ready for us at 12, much closer to a normal check in hour. Breakfast is nice. Overall a pleasant stay.

    Cons -

    • Room 309 right next to the service elevator amd woken up very early with it being used .Very loud
    • lack of parking had to park miles away as the traffic was so bad, couldn't get to the car park located next door to the hotel
    • Our room did not have fridge ( even if empty, at least to keep refrigerated some drinks or food). It didn’t have a normal bin for trash other than the tiny one in the bathroom ( which clearly is not for all kinds of trash). The bathroom in reception needed cleaning. There was not an area in the reception to sit with computers to work or study or do whatever as the downstairs area is a restaurant so you need to consume to sit there. It kind of didn’t look like was a Hilton hotel. We always choose Hilton because used to have the same standards worldwide but I’m not dwelling that anymore, or at least not in the UK.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. We were travelling with our dog, so it was important for us to feel comfortable and welcome - and everything was absolutely fine.We especially appreciated that the hotel provided useful information for travellers with dogs, which was very helpful during our trip. It really shows that they care about guests travelling with pets. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their attitude made our stay even more enjoyable.Thank you for the lovely service - we would be happy to stay here again.

Central location close to the town centre. Easy to get to. Staff very helpful and friendly. Sorted out the issue with the toilet blockage quickly and efficiently

    Toilet was blocked.

The central location, size of room, friendliness of the staff.

Service at the bar did not meet the standards expected of a four-star hotel. Additionally, one of the lifts was out of order for most of our stay.

    7ZoePosted on: 2-21-2026

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really good with lots of options, regular replenishment, and freshly cooked options. Room was clean and comfortable.

Being asked to pay £15 for the internet when you have paid almost £300 for a room is an absolute joke! Our booking was for three people and when we checked in beds were only made up for 2 - frustrating but quickly fixed. Having the soap attached high on the bathroom wall by the basin makes it very difficult for children to independently wash their hands.

The staff was rude. The manager at the property was worse. She was rude at the time of check in and instead was trying to act as Ms know it all trying to report the other Hilton for offering me wifi through Hilton Honors when her staff and herself weren't capable of managing their own property. We booked a taxi for airport. We checked in before time at 4:45 pm for a 5:30 pm taxi and were right there at reception. They failed to communicate to concierge and we kept waiting only to be informed that we didn't show up on time and taxi left. This is when we were right infront of them all the time and they said taxi was down waiting for us. We could have missed our flight due to miss communication. When we tried to file a complaint we were told no one was there to take jt

The towels! So many times I got to hotels, local and international and the “bath towels” are literally hand towels. Great location, very helpful and friendly staff.

    10WendyPosted on: 2-18-2026

Very central, clean room and common areas, comfortable bed and lovely hot shower.Pleasant staff.

    8AuroraPosted on: 2-18-2026

Friendly staff, good city centre location. Staff were lovely with the dog and very excited to meet him, small little kids play area ideal for moments in reception. Comfy beds, lovely bath, lovely bath products. Lifts were very smooth and quick, hotel rooms were very quiet which is great.

Parking being only for whilst you stay instead of 20 hours, to allow either early arrival enjoyment or later enjoyment of the departure day, this means you have to move your car to another parking spot if you are wanting to arrive or leave at earlier or later times than your stay. £40 for dogs is pretty steep, £10/£20 PN would be a bit more understandable. Only two water cans in a room for 4 guests.

Great location, very central. The room was lovely, clean, quiet, and well laid out with lots of storage. Breakfast was very good, lots of options to please even the fussiest eaters. All the staff were very helpful and kind.

The only complaint, which I have with most hotels, is the pillows. They were a bit lumpy and hard. If we were staying more thsn one night I would have asked for different ones, and Im sure the staff would have accommodated this.

Great location, valet parking was very convenient

The room was very cold, then very hot, then very cold. The thermostat controls didn’t work properly in room 414

Good location. Well appointed room. Comfortable bed

Not possible to eat in the restaurant in the evening. Had not booked and chef not available

    7SamanthaPosted on: 2-11-2026

Room was great, we did not have breakfast and its a great location.

You charge a lot for parking and to be honest with the cost of the hotel, we personally feel this should be included in the price. In addition - you advertise drinks in your bar at once price and then we were charged extra - why?

    6IanPosted on: 2-10-2026

    I knew it was a...

Poor value for money: £170 for one person with no breakfast, offered at £20.
