The room was just OK, decor was a bit tired,but quite adequate. The beds were fine. The heater was a bit hit and miss.

The worst aspect of our stay was the evening meal. My wife ordered sausage & mash, I had Hunters chicken. We waited an hour before the meals were eventually served. My meal was just about ok, but my wife’s was cold, she complained and the man who was on duty took it away to be heated (presumably microwaved) the result was the sausages were inedible, really disgusting. There were hardly a customers dining that evening, so they were hardly rushed. Absolutely dreadful.

Good location, comfortable and quiet room. Helpful staff. Restaurant on site serving evening meals and breakfast, plus bar and sitting area. Other food outlets next door. Good value for money and free parking a bonus.

If possible a lift for accessibility to bedrooms for those with mobility problems

Very convenient location for a stop on the way down south from the North. The room was quiet and warm. The bed was comfy and the shower was good.

The hotel was at motorway services and there was a strange smell outside. OK once inside though.

The generator outside our hotel kept us awake (room 140) until the reception moved us but still never slept well after.

The brand is great and all you would expect. The cleanliness was good

The staffwhomwotk.regualrly were not brilliant.There was a incident with the housekeeping staff member and the manager and duty staff were dreadful. The matter was actually fully resolved by a young man who worked cleaning the facilities. Not really what I expected but thankfully they have one or two.staff who were fantastic

Two things only, staff and location.

Where do I even begin? We arrived to find there were no bath towels in the room, though the front desk did eventually provide some. The room and corridors had an unpleasant smell, and cleanliness was a serious issue. I found multiple hairs on the bed, and the room clearly had not been properly cleaned. The heating system shut off every four hours, leaving us freezing in the middle of the night. The glasses in the room were dirty, and overall the room looked like it had not been maintained for years. The bathroom ceiling was in particularly poor condition. This was, without question, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I would never stay here again, even if it were free.

Booked this place last minute for a good price - best £36 we have ever spent. Large, clean room with a sit down shower. We would go back.

Overall excellent experience great facilities was not noisy various shops on sight friendly staff a happy stay
