Beautiful old college offering a unique experience in Cambridge. Amazing breakfast, clean rooms and kind staff.

There was nothing I disliked. However some more cozy common spaces would have been nice.

Visiting the Cambridge university sustainability conference. I had a lovely stay, the college is so tranquil yet a short stroll to the city centre. Rooms are simple, comfortable and clean. A great breakfast in a mini Hogwarts hall and great conversations with the residents

The college is a very interesting building in a great location near the centre of Cambridge. There is parking on site which was a big bonus.

No Tv available in room but we couldn’t find one in the common room either.Internet took a while to connect.

Staff were amazing, so nice. The room itself leaves a lot to be desired. For nearly £180 a night. It’s a very basic room, feels basic and basic comfort. No luxuries like a tv. Mismatched furniture and the bed was lumpy. The shower kept going hot to cold, burning me and the shower was also leaking from the shower head/ hose. 2/10

Great venue and location. Very close to Kettle’s Yard and Cambridge Centre, but easy to get to by car and good parking. Great breakfast in beautiful dining hall

Very good place to stay for a conference I was attending at St John's College, University of Cambridge. Close by to the college and town centre, less than 10 minutes walking. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff were super friendly and kind. The breakfast was amazing. The building is lovely. A unique place to stay and highly recommendable.

Advice on parking which was inaccurate.

Beautiful buildings, super staff, clean room with nice attached kitchen. No tv (not an issue for us), parking on site at £10 for 24 hours is brilliant and the location is really convenient for a quick walk into Cambridge. Breakfast buffet very good in spectacular hall.

    Historic building

No TV and mattress was rather hard.

Very near st johns college where our daughter is studying so very convenient for usSpacious comfy room Good shower On site parking

Room temperature too warm but we turned radiators off

Lovely characterful college building. Reception staff were friendly and efficient. Choices for breakfast were varied and sufficient and staff helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and heat output from radiator was easily adjusted to my preference.

Parking could have been an issue as guest parking spaces are very limited. Fortunately my friends and I had all travelled in one car and as we arrived one car was vacating so we managed to park in the last remaining space. A TV in the room would have been appreciated.

    9RhonaPosted on: 3-18-2025

Breakfast included. Good range of items.

Perhaps a larger range of fruit and pastries needed.

I liked the breakfast, the staff was welcoming and it's nice to be able to check in until late. Also the building itself is nice and of character. Beds are also comfy.

The sound isolation is terrible. We could hear a lot of sounds coming from the other rooms, until quite late like 1am-2am. So in the end we didn't spend a very good night.

    7SusannahPosted on: 3-13-2025

Breakfast was fine. Self service and in a grand hall

No TV. And a tinny clock radio that didn't work. Twin room with one table in the middle and no sockets on one side. Bathroom was clean but the floor was tired looking.

    7CarolinePosted on: 3-9-2025

Our room was very peaceful. We very much liked the calm atmosphere of the college. The staff were helpful and welcoming. We very much appreciated being able to walk to places of interest.

The bed and pillows were very soft and not very comfortable. The breakfast was adequate, but no more and lacked attention to detail.

    9AugustinPosted on: 3-7-2025

Lovely accommodation in historical building, excellent experience. Room is spacious and very nice, comfortable, good breakfast in magnificent hall and lovely hosts. Location is good, not in very downtown but in walking distance to all attractions.

Quite early and inflexible check-out, but it is nothing particular about, and we could leave our luggage for free.

    9MarcusPosted on: 3-5-2025

Westminster College is an excellent place to stay if you need access to central Cambridge for a short stay. The rooms are relatively simple, but very quiet and clean rooms. The breakfast is excellent too. If you need an evening meal there are loads of excellent restaurants nearby in the city centre.
