Great location, and friendly staff.
Plug socket in my room was damaged and falling off the wall exposing wires. Very dangerous and potential fire risk.
The location and the car parking permit worked out particularly well for us.
No hot water from the hot tap and quiet noisy from the main road from 8am with drilling but couldn't be helped unfortunately the ear plugs didn't block it out
Gorgeous location, really loved the view in that boutique room. The little private balcony was great, and the shower was comfortable albeit a wet-room. The bed was super cosy as well.
I couldn't seem to get my key to work on the front door to come in quite late, but the reception was supervised of course, so it was a very temporary issue.I also recall not being able to conveniently make a cup of coffee in the room, despite everything being there to do so by design. Either the kettle wasn't right or I was struggling with water, but can't remember specifics. Still, just niggles in a lovely stay otherwise.
Location kind and helpful staff
Cleaning below standard bedding quality terrible pillows were paper thin plus duvet whole place needs updating and some TLC. With a cash injection this could be something special but as of now I wont be returning.
The room was really tidy, and come with everything you'd expect: clean towels, tea/coffee, nice view, working TV, clean and comfy bed. The check in staff were very reasonable, made the process simple and when I had issues extending/paying for an extra couple of days they didn't make too much of an issue out of it.
The manager was a little overbearing although somewhat still quite pleasant.
Location is very good nice and clean
Clean and comfortable
Great location. Helpful and friendly staff. Fantastic with the bonus of hotel parley permit in the area.
Cold near the windows.
There was no breakfast available!
Noise from neighbouring premises adjoining the hotel was absolutely ridiculous! With the single glazed windows letting in all street noise, and the walls reverbrating, I don't think providing sponge ear plugs in the room even comes close to cover just how disturbing the bass thump at 120 beats and 120 decibels minute until 3am was, the din didn't subside until 4am,I will not be returning. Although our room was reasonable size with sea view it wasn't at all a pleasurable stay. And would advise to only stay if you must on week days and avoid the weekends like the plague, unless your going to party until 4 am yourself!
Great location and staff really friendly also a clean bathroom and clean room!
No parking like stated, just street permit parking. Beds not comfortable at all, room didn’t look like the photos as it was abit outdated. Windows didn’t open so no ventilation. The outside looked abandoned and not how it looks on the website at all. The room was just outdated with rust around the windows. Not what I was hoping for sadly :( Also extremely noisy because of the main road so be prepared for that If you are staying in the sea view rooms.
Amazing view!!!! Great placement, near the town and the beach!Lovely staff.
Seems to be an older building, quite a noisy draft from windows and room (especially toilet) could have been cleaner but wasn't awful.
Everything
Pity that the Centre stage was closed as we had to go somewhere else for breakfast. Please ask the cleaner to clean the toilet brush.
Low price good location.
Slughtly down at heel. No in-house restaurant and relied on street parking.
Fantastic staff, very friendly
A little dated compared to chain hotels but very in keeping with the Brighton vibe of uniqueness
Location was great.
No parking, bed was very lumpy and I did tell them at the service desk. Very small room for a twin.
Absolutely loved the staff, the room and the location. Amazing view of the pier from our room and we even got a very generous upgrade for our room, extremely grateful for that! Definitely book here for a decently priced and very pleasant stay
Nothing really to complain about to be honest?
Great location and great room with a view
The room was cold
Wasn't a stay!!
It may be a thought to inform people PRIOR TO PAYING ONLINE..that the Restaurant/Bar is closed for refurbishment. I now have the time consuming and probable pointless task of getting a refund as I didn't stay and had to book somewhere else that DID have somewhere I could eat.
