The bed was too small for 1 person. Although I weigh only 110 pounds and am short , I couldn¿t turn in bed without falling off. The owners aren¿t customer friendly. They didn¿t even give me a cup of hot water after I checked out. No heating in summer.

Room 5 is a very small room. There was a heat wave in the UK during this time and this hotel room had no air conditioning.

Very helpful friendly staff. Great location with parking available right outside. Very clean and modern with every detail thought of. Arrived earlier than planned and our room was available right away. Would definitely stay again....

The location is perfect, as just away from the town centre but easy to get anywhere in town or the marina

Clean, quiet & comfortable

Everything is perfect...thanks Peter and Steve for their hospitality. The accommodation is close to everything that we would like to see and the couple has provided lots of recommendation of good restaurant to go with good discount. We were lucky to be able to get a parking just a stone throw away. Will definitely go back again when we visit Brighton.

Clean, comfortable. Excellent location. The owners are kind and helpful.

First of all, the communication from Steve & Peter was excellent from booking to checking in and out. It’s in a great location, decorated to a high standard and cosy - I looked forward to coming back after a long day at my conference. The room is comfortable & quiet with a firm and supportive bed and a great shower.

It was a little too warm for me so I didn’t sleep as well as would like. This is likely because my room was on the top floor (so the heat rises) and the window would only open a little (it was restricted for safety). There is a ceiling fan which did help to cool it down, but I find them distracting. I also found the pillows were too soft and didn’t offer enough support - but again, that’s my personal preference.

The location & the staff were spectacular. The property is very updated, modern, extremely clean and well maintained. The owners are VERY accommodating, helpful, and responsive. This property is run very efficiently and it is clear that they know what they’re doing. These are seasoned owners who take the hospitality business seriously.

After I finished booking my hotel online through a third-party site, I was notified by the owners that the room was small and not suitable for anyone taller than 6 ft. They did warn me ahead of time about the size of the room, and I was given an opportunity to change my mind, so this is not a complaint about not being forewarned. In fact, it’s not really a complaint at all! It’s just a _comment_ that the single rooms are, indeed, very (very!!!) small, and since I was staying for 5 nights, if I were to return to Brighton, I would look for a property that had larger single rooms.

The attention to detail in the rooms is amazing, great interior design has transformed this hotel into an excellent place to stay. The owner checked us in and provided all the information we needed to make it a great experience.

Parking is not easy to find directly in front of the hotel, but was easy to find nearby. The owner recommended The Kemp Pub nearby for dinner, we were not disappointed- see pic.

Great hostsLovely decor and amenities. The cheerful flowers a plants are a nice touch. Terrific location in what feels like a real neighborhood. The cafe at the corner is great for a coffee breakfast pastry.

The only negative was the climb to the top floor. That said the stairs are wide and safe. The fan in the room really helped during the heat wave.

Perfect little room. Exceptionally renovated, clean, private, quiet, and in order. One sees the beach upon stepping out the front door, and can hear the waves at night from the beautiful courtyard garden. Situated in a beautiful & diverse neighborhood. Easy busses to and from train station if you have heavy bags, and then walkable to nearly everything.

Red Brighton Blue is a lovely small hotel with a style all its own. Situated perfectly! A small walk to the center of things but just enough off the town to give you some quiet. I particularly liked the warmth of the owners. One even recognized me outside of the hotel and said hello. Where else does that happen? The room was small, but well thought out and a good value for such a busy weekend in town. It was kept clean, and well stocked. I also needed to work a bit, and found the quiet I needed just right.Thanks for a beautiful stay. You would be lucky to book a room here!

Location is convenient and fairly close to the beach. Very friendly and helpful host. Great insights to local places to eat and things to do.

Parking is the only issue as it is no parking near the accomodation but street parking it is not far away.

We absolutely loved this hotel and the extremely kind, friendly and helpful hosts! Nothing was too much trouble for them and we thoroughly enjoyed everything about this hotel, from the perfect location, accessible to the heart of everything in every direction and the extreme cleanliness, peaceful environment, lovely decor of the hotel. We would definitely recommend and stay here when we are next in Brighton.

Wonderfully located hotel that was perfect for a weekend getaway. The room was spacious, pristine and beautifully decorated with lots of extra touches that made it feel really luxurious. The hotel owners were really friendly and had lots of tips on where to go out and about, and we are very well in the restaurants nearby.
