    Cons -

    • Unfortunately, we weren't able to get a parking permit and had to park in nearby carpark overnight which was about a ten minute walk away. And the seagulls were incredibly noisy at 4am so ear plugs would have been helpful.

The breakfast was great, good food with lots of choice ie cereal, croissants, toast and fruit. The hotel was clean and the staff very pleasant and helpful. It was relatively easy to find and a stones throw from the front.

Good location, cosy room, nice to have a complementary continental breakfast. A nice warm arrival and personal service throughout. Yanna was brilliant

Blanch House is perfectly located close to the prom and has a warm welcoming fibe. The breakfast has lots of variety and the room was cosy with high quality bed linen and towels and a lovely touch of home made biscuits. The staff are the best I’ve ever had - Lydia and especially Jana are welcoming, and incredibly friendly and helpful. I would love to return and will recommend

I loved this hotel; the staff were friendly and helpful. It was New Years Eve and went saw the New Year in with two members of staff and they were lovely; it was so nice; the bar was good and the atmosphere was so good.

    Loved it all

Lovely large room and great bathroom with roll top bath. Beautiful bay window which you could see the sea from. Comfy large bed.

    Breakfast could have been better

Wonderful staff, so welcoming and friendly.

I could hear someone snoring next door! But this is hard to avoid in an old building.

    8JillPosted on: 11-30-2025

    Stylish comfortable. Lovely staff.

Just a few minor things that could be addressed. A bulb in bedside lamp was not working. Batteries in the tv remote needed replacing. Toilet seat was loose.

Good location, friendly staff and comfy bed. Nice continental breakfast included.

    9RogerPosted on: 11-24-2025

Super friendly and helpful staff. Couldn't do enough. Great breakfast and right round the corner from where I needed to be!

    Room was a bit cosy!

Daniela and the staff at Blanch House were absolutely charming, friendly, professional and couldn't have been more helpful. Complimentary continental breakfast was really nice, lots of choice, just great. Location was perfect, literally a stone's throw from the beach and promenade, and a short walk to Brighton Pier, bars/restaurants and Brighton Centre. Blanch House was quite old-school but delightful; the lounge/reception area had a lovely bar and was very relaxing and comfortable. We stayed in the Sakura room which was small but nice. I would definitely stay here again, for longer.

Tea and coffee making facilities in our room were in the cupboard, at the bottom, this meant that you had nowhere to hang clothes. I suggest that you wall-mount the TV which is currently free standing on a shelf, that way you would then have room to move the kettle and tea and coffee out of the cupboard and onto the shelf.

N/A - I was made to feel at home by the fantastic host!

This townhouse hotel has a very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are glam and very comfortable! Breakfast was great and staff going out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Would stay again.

Only minor negative is that some of the furniture which was chic a few years ago is starting to feel a little worn and could do with an upgrade. The breakfast room doesn't feel.up to the same standards as the rest of the hotel.

Quirky hotel; clean; comfy beds and good linen & towels; good continental breakfast. Excellent, welcoming staff. But furnishings tired compared to glossy photos.
