    • It is one of the most interesting place we have stayed, it will not be for everyone but we did love it.
    • Hotel is very charateristic and quirky is on is beautful way, room we stay its nice decorated and the spa bath exceptional
    • It’s quirky and arty. We stayed in the David Bowie themed room and I’d like to stay again to see the other rooms. The bed was a little low but that’s only because I have back pain and it took me a while to get up. Enjoyed the dressing up clothes and wigs.. added some fun to our stay! The breakfast was very nice and it’s in an informal setting, like a home from home. It’s close to all of Brighton’s array of things to do, restaurants are plentiful it’s and next to the beach.

    Cons -

    • room can feel cold at time, a portable electric heating was provided but not enought for the size of the room.
    • Nothing. It’s just perfect as it is!
    • nothing everything was wonderful

Hotel Pelirocco is a quirky, stylish boutique hotel on Regency Square, a couple of minutes away from the beach. The bar and lounge area is really cosy and cute, with lots of art and music memorabilia. Each room is decorated in a different theme, with lots of lovely design details. Everyone at Pelirocco is warm and friendly, adding to an already wonderful place. And all this for a very reasonable price. Whenever I’m back in Brighton, this is where I’ll be staying!

Nothing. It’s just perfect as it is!

the staff were super fun. The rooms were so well done and great themes and fun. The bar was a happy place great for meeting the other guests and staff. The breakfast was the best I had on my trip to the English coast.Great view of the sea from our room. Lots of things to do around the hotel. Great neighbourhood. Wonderful shops along the Kings Rd near by. A whole aray of resturaunts and bars within the vicinty. Will be recommending this hotel to all our friends here in the USA and in the UK.

    nothing everything was wonderful

I liked how fun it was. So much to look at.

How low the bed was , being 7 months pregnant, my partner had to give me a push to get up lol .

Fun hotel, and most importantly great staff, warm, quiet, clean and comfortable room

A fridge in the room with water would be good. Also decaf tea or coffee sachets

Staff very friendly and welcoming, ideal location and very reasonable costs

Breakfast was great, hotel quirky and fun. Very Brighton. Each room themed round a musical genre, and a really interesting place. Staff really friendly; couldn't do enough.

We liked the themed rooms (I stayed in the single bed reggae room), the attentive staff + its ever so convenient location to get to the beach/town/Brighton Centre (where my work conference was)

Slightly chilly room …. but I hadn’t turned the radiator on haha

Quirky and yet somehow down to earth hotel with lovely staff and a brilliant, generous breakfast. My room was clean and comfortable. I felt very welcomed.

Don't book this hotel if you like a calm visual environment or get easily over-stimulated...

Great location for the beach and the shops in Brighton. Quirky decor.

The shower room in our room was quite small and awkward to get into. But cleverly the room had been designed as if we were on a space ship so it felt authentic.

The themed rooms, pictures hanging on the wall & the breakfast .

    7SpencerPosted on: 10-13-2025

Very central and the themed aspect was great

The shower was pretty rubbish, either too hot or too cold

This place is a gem. I got a happy welcome, the location is brilliant and the decoration is amazing. The room was comfy and I spent the afternoon listening to vinyl, which I haven’t done in a long time. Perfect place. Dig the staircase!

staff about the friendliest and most helpful in recent years. very quirky place. Huge brekker; I had too much. Will return

The tv, kept breaking down and was difficult to follow. Much as I enjoyed the way out rooms, I am not a fan of boxing. Fantasy and football are my love zones

    6BridgetPosted on: 9-25-2025

The staff were lovely and checked us in quickly. They pointed out that they did a good breakfast. The decor and theme of the room was excellent.

The room was really jaded. I liked that it had a leopard-print theme and an information portrait, but the materials used on the chaise, and a weird curtain that covered some shelves was polyester and just looked tacky. The terrace/balcony could only be accessed by large old sash windows which you had to bend down really far to step through.

    3EleanorPosted on: 9-22-2025

It was located within walking distance to shops, train station and concert venue. Staff were pleasant.

Room 19 was tiny (attic room), windows nailed shut, cobwebs in several places, no air con, smallest bathroom with the sink in the bedroom. Hideous pictures in the room more like S&M than music theme! Stairs up to 4th floor very steep and the lift was tiny with awful pictures of sushi all over the walls. Would not stay again. Surprised Rm 19 passed fire checks!

This is a really distinctive, one-off hotel with themed rooms. The place is full of rock and roll memorabilia and looks like nowhere else I've ever stayed. Apart from the thought that's gone into making a unique space, the hotel stands out in other ways. The beds and comfy, with good linen, the showers are good, the rooms are large and clean and some have sea views. The breakfasts were excellent with meat and veggie and vegan options. But what stood out most of all was the staff team -- everyone we met was friendly, professional and super-helpful and made us feel completely at home.

    There was nothing to dislike.

    10PhillipsPosted on: 9-5-2025

The ambience, decor, the staff, location… the second we walked in we were welcomed and made to feel comfortable and at ease but it was fun and energetic
