Pros +
- Beautiful room, clean , tea and coffe facilities.
- Very pretty and comfortable room. Although I had to go next door to get some help (I was a bit early) the staff were really helpful and pleasant once I found them. The room had lovely decor, and the bed was comfortable.
- Excellent location.Clean and comfortable.Extra provisions available at handFood and service at the associated restaurant excellent
Cons -
- There is nothing we did not like
- . Not sure how the heating worked in my room, and no instructions- had 2 plug-in electric heaters, and it was never really cold, but not that warm either. Quite expensive for the location and the way it is run (i.e., no full-time reception, seemingly no central heating?)

Position, decor, comfort.
TV didn’t work, room was cold. A heater had been added but wasn’t enough.
Very stylish, comfortable and clean. Clear instructions for checking ourselves in and out.
The bathroom was a bit cold.
Had room 12 and it was perfect for a single person but would be very comfortable for 2 people. Plenty of space, clean, comfortable beds. Dinner at the next door pub attached to the hotel was also very good. I will be booking this place again in the future when I next come to Birmingham.
Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful.Bed was comfy and shower was good.Pub next door was flat out serving Sunday roasts but served food all day so we were able to get a meal in between lunch and dinner.
Windows didn't open, even on ground floor.
Overall location, customer service, comfy bed and beautiful decor and in room facilities. Great breakfast at the ‘gastro’ pub next door
The heated towel rail didn’t work so the bathroom and towels were cold
Great location and looks great from the outside
Literally no staff presents whatsoever at 8 pm. No car parking permit available even in the room which was terribly inconvenient. The room was literally so damp that the smell made you gag. The windows on the inside were tripping with water and there was no possible ventilation as windows were all sealed shut. The carpet was damp the bed was damp. The smell was so toxic within half an hour I had to leave and find another hotel worst experience of staying in any hotel during the past 30 years and I stay away at least one night a week.
I did not meet any staff, and unfortunately the WIFI was broken, but I was made aware of that.
covenient location and private. No hassle
wii fii was awful
Very clean room with hot water and comfortable bed.
Flooring in shower room needs attention. Bed frame was very creaky. TV had a very poor signal. WiFi was down but I could get a signal from the pub next door.
Lovely hotel - clean, comfortable, perfect location and amazing breakfast. Definitely will stay again!
Close to Simpson’s. Quiet and comfortable stay. Big bed. Good quality bathroom. In room facilities good but also had lounge with fridge.
The room is absolutely gorgeous, so tastefully decorated and cosy and silent. Great bed too and easy parking
Parking was perfect, room was delightful, staff lovely, food at the pub next door was really good - and gluten free well catered for.
If you wanted a coffee you had to go and get one from the machine in reception.
Quirky comfortable room. Access to fresh milk. Easy to access. On site parking.
Loved it. Beautiful room , warm and clean. Only stayed for one night this time. Will definately return snd stay longer to fully appreciate.
Everything
Lovely hotel and have stayed many times - great location and nice pub attached for food and drinks
Had bit of trouble getting code to work but popped into pub and they gave us new code.
The rooms were a good size and the decor was lovely. The bed was very comfortable too and a decent powered shower.
Our room (room 8) smelt damp and musty. The heating was set to 24 degrees which I discovered in the middle of the night when I woke up very warm.
