Location was great as we were visiting friends nearby. Easy access to the city. The room was comfortable enough and reasonably priced

The hotel is a little tired but you get what you pay for.

Close to the venue friendly staff easy check in

The heating didn't work radiators didn't come on...Had to have blow heater

Our trip to the strathalen was cancelled as the hotel closed

We booked this hotel through booking.com then a week before the stay the hotel closed to the public

Breakfast was fine but rang reception and was told 09am and I asked the previous night and in the morning.

Room was way smaller than expected. Had to get extra pillows sent up. The bar was closed this was around 10.30 pm .heating was off had to use electric heater supplied. Soundproofing between the rooms not great could hear someone snoring all night. Not me.

Staff was helpful and understanding. After my complaints, they provided me free drink vouchers, but I didn’t have time to use them.

Firstly, the cleanliness of the bathroom was not up to the expected standard. Upon my arrival, I found stray hairs around the basin and bathtub, suggesting a lack of thorough cleaning. Secondly, there was a notable issue with the lighting in the bedroom area of my room. The absence of a ceiling lamp significantly reduces the comfort and convenience, as I was working on the laptop. In addition, the heating in the room seemed insufficient. The radiator provided did not adequately heat the space as it was not large enough, leading to an uncomfortable room temperature.

Location

Extremely noisy all night. People running up and down the corridors. No night porter monitoring it.

Staff very pleasant, clean room, nice breakfast.

Location and staff were friendly

The disabled room we had the bathroom wet floor didn’t drain correctly and the carpet got wet Very noisy guests stayed there and kept trying to get in our room but that’s not the hotels fault

Lovely shower and it was clean

Staff we’re very rude and unhelpful. Asked for a heater because it was cold, had to keep asking for a long time. Extremely cramped room with very little space. The room says “cozy double room” but there’s literally no space for two people. Went to check the breakfast in the morning to see if it was worthy of purchasing and the staff were following me around to ensure I wouldn’t steal food.

Really friendly staff, free parking, big room

Late check in.Barking dog on our floor

Good

Radiators weren’t working in the room. A small plug in was provided but failed to heat the room which was really cold. Hotel was much further out than I expected and was a 15 minute walk from the end of the metro line.

The night was for a work event. The room was brilliant but guests in a neighbouring room were too loud.

Location was ideal for our needs, close too the city centre, bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful and car parking great

My only real gripe is there was no USB charging ports in the room, we had to buy an adapter
