    • Good location just a few minutes walk from the O2 Academy. Staff was friendly. Bed was comfy and the pillows were soft and clean
    • The room was nice and cosy and the facilities were great and we enjoyed the breakfast
    • It was a central location.

    Cons -

    • Room was way too small even for 1 person, no table, no closet and not even a hook on the walls to hang jackets. I had to keep my stuff on the floor (which has moquette)The bathroom shower head was loose and almost came off, same for the toilet paper
    • Some of the other guest were very noisy and kept running up and down the hallway and slamming their doors. It woke us up and it took forever for me to fall back alseep
    • The entire washroom drainage system was malfunctioning. I couldn’t shower.

    Bad

My room had food crumbs on the floor and some blue liquid on the wall . I stayed one night and left as it was unacceptable . I sent a email to them the day I left and still haven’t heard anything back

Very clean and bed super comfy Complimentary toiletries

Room sooo small, nowhere to hang anything, nowhere to get readyNeeds secondary glazing

Excellent Location, clean family room. Plenty of towels and linen. Lovely bar with great selection.

Didn't like that only narrow stirwell up to rooms and corridors very narrow. I was a little conscious if we needed to get out if there was an emergency.Defo not suitable for an elderly person or if you had a disability. Also windows in room are very old and full of condensation. Noisy as located on main road but okay if you have ear plugs. Also I thought u should have been a key pad to get from pub area to hotel rooms.

Welcoming host and the room was comfortable

Very loud from other guests and road is never not busy and I mean all night

I liked the location for where we wanted to be.

The rooms were very dated, small, cramped and very damp! Half the walls were not painted, the stairs were incredibly steep with broken hand rail. We selected this stay because it included breakfast but breakfast wasn’t available! So very disappointed in that.

    6LucyPosted on: 1-28-2026

It was close to the city.

They had alot of stairs not great for those with mobility issues and staff smoking in disabled toilet.

I liked its proximity to the New Street station and city centre. The room was clean and cozy -- especially since the staff even upgraded my room to a double when I arrived (I didn't ask why). Overall, great value for money.

WiFi was down for a long while, could do with being more reliable.

Well situated and easy to find. The eeperate entrance made coming and going easier. The bed was really comfy and, although basic, the room had pretty much everything I needed or wanted (TV, ample plugs with USB ports, hairdryer etc.)The breakfast was nice with some good choices for a small continental.

There were no hooks to hang my coat/clothes, there was a shelf with hook holes but they were all missing so had to hang my coat in the bathroom. There was a bit of a smell coming from the sink when you run the tap. The WiFi wasn’t very good, however I was on the second floor so might just be a location thing.

The location is great in central London and good value for money.

The toilet is not very clean, but, I assume many people have used it. The music was very loud until 2am in the morning so maybe in central and pub is downstairs as well.

    8ChiaraPosted on: 1-25-2026

I loved the pub vibes when you go in and the room was essential but cosy. Breakfast was great and staff was very nice! Great value for money spent

    8MoustafaPosted on: 1-25-2026

close to city centre , location and family room was good

    10PetrPosted on: 1-25-2026

Great price in the town centre, lovely pub downstairs, 10% off for all drinks, So I paid £5 for a pint of Guinness. Nice bathroom with shower on a house and thermostatic shover mixer, usb wall socket, hair dryers, telly, kettle. Heating was on and the room was warm enough hence single glazing window. Breakfast was simple and good for me. Free cancellation was also good. Charming accommodation from the old good England.

Really missing a hook or a shelf where I can hang my coat, items etc, the room was really small but enough for sleep over. Shower screen in room number two need a few more screws to hold the screen properly and avoid to leak water out and make more damage.

    9GavinPosted on: 1-24-2026

Both price and location were absolutely amazing very happy

Breakfast is basic, but to be fair the price of the room is so cheap it's basically a free breakfast so I'm definitely not complaining about it, a hot option would be nice for additional £

    friendly staff,clean environment,comfy bed

please fix the hand rail on the 2nd floor due to the steep stairs but apart from that,I highly recommend
