The Black Fox

The location was perfect. The ambiance was exactly what you would expect from a few hundred years old inn.

Just beware that the steps to the room are steep and along with the charm you may get a few quirks.

Great Stay and the room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good and the location superb.

Staff was non-friendly, bed was mushy, sheets had been cleaned but a lot of hair still on the bed.

Location was amazing, close to the Christmas Market and City Center. Breakfast was amazing!! And the pub vibe couldn’t be better!

Room was very small, made it hard to access luggage. But this is the only negative because everything else was wonderful.

Everything was good, if only they can start the breakfast at 7 instead of 8, it will be convenient for those who have to morning tours

The location is superb, breakfasts were excellent, staff was helpful.

Walls are THIN and you can hear everything in adjoining rooms. Room needed some updating.

Location was excellent; parking was nearby but a little difficult to find pedestrian entrances. Overall a good stay, even with having to haul a large suitcase up multiple stairs.

I liked so much. Clean and comfortable room and facility. Pleasant and helpful staff. Outstanding free house pub on the ground floor and excellent breakfasts included in the price of the stay. Charming inn. Would return any time.

Only related to the shower…it is very tiny in diameter and a bit difficult to manuveur in…and the hot water boiler is slow to warm up in the mornings so there is little warm shower water until later in the day.

Nothing to dislike

Wow, firstly the location of Black Fox was so cute. If you truly want an actual experience very central and near to everything then make sure to book your stay at the Black Fox. The check in and out was at their cute little bar / eatery situated on the ground floor, the staff was super lovely and welcoming and we were so happy to meet a young fellow South African lady who made us feel right at home in the heart of Bath. The rooms, views, and facilities were all exceptional. This is 100% a city i would love to visit again and I will be sure to book at Black Fox again, thank you team.

It was a good, basic, roomy stay. Breakfast was typical pub breakfast offerings. Easy to walk to all the important sights in Bath.

For us oldsters there were too many steps to the room. Otherwise good value.

Ours was a comfortable and clean room, albeit a 3-story winding climb to it, with luggage. The pub below has good food, a great draft beer selection, and friendly and competent staff. We wanted to visit the thermal baths spa; it was literally across the street. A paid parking garage was a short walk away.

The room was comfortable and the property had a good location. The breakfasts were very nice. Liked access to clean towels.

Can get a little noisy at night from the street.

Loved the location, staff, and food! Very glad we had a fan in the room with a window and natural light.

Very nice and very clean. Close to the Roman baths. The free breakfast is absolutely fabulous.

Fantastic location, small but modern well equipped minimalistic room, lovely bathroom.

Due to hot weather had window open, so traffic noise very loud.
