Pros +
- The gardens were delightful even out of season. The room was supersized with very comfortable twin beds. The room came equipped with a tea/coffee machine which is just a nice extra after a long day out. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were perfect. The spa is supersized.

Cons -
- I liked everything.
- Attention to detail lost in bathrooms & toilet areas as quite dated and public toilet not always the cleanest
- My only critique was no crisps or chocolate but hey it probably done me a favour…..but I did fancy some nibbles for bed

Everything from arrival to checkout was superb. Exceptional service throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was upgraded which was fabulous. The spa facilities were excellent, we cant wait to return!
SO BEAUTIFUL! I like that there’s a back patio, a spa downstairs, the lotions they provide are awesome, the front desk was friendly. There’s room service that’s actually fairly good.
Everything was perfect
Lovely old school hotel, great spa facilities, spacious and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff.
Would’ve preferred the option for buffet breakfast as the choices were limited on the menu. Still good food tho.
The room, scene and garden are all gorgeous. The staffs are kind. And the food is delicate.
Everything is fine, but just a reminder: the price of food matches its brand, so considering.
A beautiful building with character & a very spacious bedroom & bathroom. A lovely comfy bed. The staff were brilliant. The gardens are beautiful.
The Hotel needs some TLC in some areas. On our first breakfast the waitress was on her own & needed more help. The second breakfast was much more organised & quicker.
Everything! This hotel was incredible! So beautiful and the staff was kind and helpful. I think we were upgraded as our room was a suite overlooking a garden. There was a huge bathtub and the bed was incredible. I wanted to move in! We also had a high tea that was delicious!
nothing! it was all amazing!
Great location. Super friendly staff. Nice large rooms.
The Priory is a 5 star boutique hotel worthy of the title. The staff is friendly and efficient, as well as very accommodating. The property is beautiful in itself and impeccably maintained. The spa is a DREAM. I'd been there for afternoon tea a couple of times (which we also did this time around), but it was my first time staying and I was very impressed. Our room had an amazing view of the great gardens and it was lovely and comfortable. We ordered room service and breakfast to the room and all worked impeccably. Truly, one of the best vacationing experiences of our lives (which was great, as we were there for our mini-moon!) We will be back time and time again, for sure, whether to stay, for a meal, or for a spa day.
Nothing; everything was perfect.
I surprised my long-distance fiancé with a two-night stay in the Bath Priory this weekend to celebrate our engagement and it was absolutely magical. To celebrate the special occasion, we were upgraded to a spectacular garden view room and greeted to some freshly-made cookies. The hotel and grounds are just gorgeous and the pool, sauna and steam room were lovely. The breakfast was great, best enjoyed in bed. The bar staff were so friendly. Dylan (hope I'm spelling that right) on the front desk could not have been friendlier and more accommodating. He is a total star.
Breakfast service was a bit slow on our first morning but the servers were great, there just wasn't enough of them. There was a loud noise in our room which woke us up at 6am on Sunday. We think it was one of the radiators, perhaps it needs bleeding.
It’s a beautiful building and gardens. The staff were very helpful and looked after us very well with a kind upgrade to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The spa was very nice too but best of all was the outstanding breakfast.
We ate in the hotel bar as one of the main lounges was booked for a private event (which was largely empty). Food was OK but seemed expensive for the platters we received.
Overall it was ok but dated.
The shower didn’t drain wellThe flush didn’t work well Neither of these were addressed during our stayThe light bar menu was extremely limitedFor guests without cars perhaps they can arrange a shuttle service rather them having them pull their luggage and walk at the same time The baths were not really baths but a regular pool on the small side.
Clean, staff were so friendly, breakfast was very good. Very relaxing
Lovely hotel and location. Loved the spa with it's heated pool, steam room and sauna. Breakfast was lovely and the staff was always friendly.
The lights in the room weren't bright enough especially when doing your make-up. The bed was a king size bed in our room which was lovely but the pillows were very soft and light which wasn't comfortable and the mattress felt lumpy.
Location was wonderful .Clean and stunning Hotel .Beautiful room stunning Hotel Lovely Spa Very friendly staff X
Well what can we say ? The very best service, unobtrusive yet with everything provided without having to ask for it. On arrival our room was upgraded to a ground floor premium to meet my wife's disability needs. We had the bonus of a lovely balcony overlooking stunning gardens. The property itself is immaculately presented and we were shown around on arrival.Every one of the hotel staff was friendly and extremely helpful. A superb experience, we will definitely return.
We were upgraded to a spacious suite with garden view. The garden was a delight and so were the communal rooms downstairs with plenty of comfortable seating, style of a bygone era. Games and friendly ,polite and helpful staff did everything to make you feel at Homer. Spa bath was nice
Prices were high and everything downstairs was charged extra. The breakfast was table service and while the staff was polite and friendly they got orders wrong several times , did not bring a plate or fresh glasses for water etc. Nothing drastic, but astonishing.
Quiet location a half hour nice walk across the park in to the centre. Lovely hotel. We received an upgrade which was a superb room . Lovely spa facilities which were at our disposal. Warm and comfortable. Would visit again. Friendly staff.
