Good central location, nice standard of rooms and a free upgrade.

    Location, staff, modernity

Some dust around, tea bags not topped up, no fridge,

    6DavePosted on: 2-3-2026

    Proximity to centre

Room not clean. Broken glass, dirty mirrors and shower, and room smaller/not as advertised

Great location, friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast, good breakfast service especially the young man about 18? 6ft tall serving on 01 Feb.

Bar staff lacked knowledge of basic drinks. Room 209 bathroom fan didn't work, coffee in a bag, needed a sharp instrument to open. I mention the room number because in there is a steel structure by the bed with a corner placed at 1.8m i hit my head on it twice, one of the times i actually cut my head on it. Not really an issue for me, but a danger for the hotel with guests that are looking for a claim.. parking is also a nightmare in Bath!

    Central location

    Quite run down and noisy

    7SalliePosted on: 1-28-2026

Great location! Lovely staff. Love that it’s dog friendly as we brought our dog with us. Good breakfast too.

I felt the rooms just needed a little deep clean, a re fresh, it felt and looked a little tired. Dressing gowns and towels provided looked and felt like they had been used many times, lost their comfort and freshness.

Its location.Quality fittings & fixtures in the room.We were upgraded to a suite for no extra cost and it was a stunning room with an amazing dressing room and bathroom!

Maybe the bar area could be upgraded. Also the carpet in reception was outdated and not a good look.

    Excellent location.

The property was generally quite tired and worn, although the rooms were comfortable and relatively clean. We had booked this hotel as information said dog-friendly, but when we arrived there were additional charges added when there was no mention of this on their website or on booking.com. £35 per night is excessive!

    Location and boutique hotel vibe.

Parking but I get the trade off is the location.

The Hotel is in a fabulous location right next to the Abbey. Welcoming staff informed us that we had been upgraded to a junior suite, which was a nice surprise. It was a beautiful room with the biggest bathroom i have ever seen! Breakfast was included in our room rate and was plentiful and delicious.

Although the junior suite was beautiful, it was basement level with no windows or ability to have fresh air. We didn’t get a great night’s sleep because the air con wasn’t very effective and was noisy. In fairness to the hotel, we didn’t say anything and give them an opportunity to move us or anything because we were only there for 2 nights and couldn’t be bothered to move rooms. But it’s something to point out in case it’s something that would bother future customers.

Excellent location Friendly staff, really helpful Lovely room which was upgraded

The breakfast could have been hotter. Unfortunately it was served on cold plates which was a bit disappointing

    5LeePosted on: 1-20-2026

The room was lovely, clean and comfortable

Noise outside meant we were awake most of the night. Double glazing didn’t help. With window closed room was too hot and air conditioning made an awful noise. The TV kept flashing too.

    8AmandaPosted on: 1-20-2026

Location is good, room is spacious..

The sounds from corridors are a bit hard to ignore. There is a dog bed in the room, if someone has allergic issues, you’d better choose a pet-free room.

    9ChloePosted on: 1-20-2026

They upgraded my room and were able to put a rush on check in. The breakfast was great. The hotel was in a great location.

    9HollyPosted on: 1-19-2026

Location was a 10 ; Issue with booking .com not informing hotel that are granddaughter was coming but hotel accommodated us

    10MariaPosted on: 1-19-2026

Lovely room, very quiet even though it’s in the hub of bath. Breakfast was fantastic and we were lucky enough to have a room upgrade and a were able to check in at Midday. The hotel also looked after our bags at no extra cost on our departure day which meant we could enjoy the beautiful city of Bath without heavy bags.

I would have a loved a Bath but the bathroom was large and had some lovely shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. They also provided bath robes and slippers
