    Pros +

    • The staff, rooms and food are exceptional
    • Room was really comfortable and stylish. Both bedroom and bathroom were spacious. It was lovely having a sofa in the room so you could watch tv without having your sit on the bed.Lovely welcome touches.Complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge was useful.Staff were very friendly and accommodating.Location was very central.
    • The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are very spacious. On arrival I was very pleased even when initially entering the room I was very please. The car parking service is good however expensive with a room rate like this per nightThe only person that really tried to rescue was Jack in the restaurant. He is a brilliant sommelier and really did make out meal special but this was more about the restaurant than sadly the hotel

    Cons -

    • The only, and I do mean only, comnent is that the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room was very perterbing. I drink tea late at night and early in the morning and do not feel comfortable venturing out in my pyjamas at god knows what time to make a cuppa at the hot drink station on our landing - it doesn't fit with the calibre of the hotel at all.
    • Sadly the room above had kids in the room and having kids running around on floor boards of an old building at midnight is not ideal. It took 3 times for me to complain for that to be dealt with. If you’re going to have kids in a hotel like this I would suggest ground floor rooms. The next day we went out for the day to return to our room not locked. Entering the room the room had been serviced however rubbish had been left in the room. The level of attention to detail is just really poor we had really nice bathroom yet the lights in the bathroom look they hadn’t been dusted in 2 years Having to repeated ask for towels and items that should just be a standard point with a hotel room Sadly it spoilt our weekend

This was a return visit for a few days for our Wedding Anniversary! This Boutique Hotel

It was so beautiful, I loved my corner room with the beautiful wall paper. The shower was incredible with lovely products in. The bed was super comfortable and it felt really homely- details like providing books in the room. I loved that there were lots of places other than the bedroom to meet other guests, like the bar, or In the reception room.

basically not applicable: Honestly it was a splurge but it was worth it. Room could have been bigger- but it was super cosy and I liked that. Could have been a coffee machine- but also free coffee in multiple locations around the venue. So not a problemI wish I had breakfast or dinner- my fault for not booking

Beautiful decor, utterly tasteful, wonderful staff and breakfast. Bar area gorgeous and everyone so friendly. Perfect location.

    clean and comfortable

It would be great to have tea and coffee in the rooms. Could hear neighbour snoring.

I absolutely LOVED the Queensbury. As a solo woman traveler it was so safe, cosy and elegant. The decor was next level. The little lounges and outdoor areas were so charming..staff were extra helpful. Bed and room were so comfortable it was hard to leave! Bathroom products, towels and decor were pure luxury.Lovely boutique hotel experience..I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

    Not one thing. Take me.back!

Location and the staff were absolutely lovey and very helpful, polite and attentive.

The room was very cold and adjusting the radiator didn’t quite warm it up enough. Despite tea and coffee in the lobby it was very disappointing to not have tea and coffee facilities in the room for a morning hot drink.

    10BrianPosted on: 12-28-2025

Ambiance and super staff. Decoration and soft furnishing.

We stayed here as part of our engagement celebration. Having been here before for our first weekend get away, we could have had a better time away with yourselves. We were warmly welcomed, the flowers in our room which were provided for my Fiancé were perfect, and the room was utterly divine. The room itself was exceptional - we loved the decor, space and bathroom, everything was just perfect. We had a few drinks downstairs and the service was great along with the drinks too (Paloma in particular was very tasty)We ended up having breakfast downstairs and we could not fault it. My full English tasted amazing and my fiancé’s omelette was very very good.

Couldn’t find a fault. The staff, facilities and service was utterly brilliant.

Excellent front desk staff, always warm and helpful. Charming and quirky hotel brilliantly located on a quiet street just a few minutes walk away from everything.

Would be nice to have kettles and tea/coffee supplies + slippers in the room.

Incredible staff, wonderful rooms and a great location. An all-round perfect stay!

    9DavidPosted on: 12-7-2025

Everything, location, helpful friendly staff, the standards of everything provided

At that price point I feel that either parking or breakfast should be included, not extra.

    10TomokoPosted on: 12-6-2025

Room was very clean and comfortable. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Unfortunately their restaurant was closed that week and the breakfast was ok, but not quite…. as they did not have enough the stock of mayple syrup

    10TomokoPosted on: 12-6-2025

Comfortable bed, room and helpful staff

Unfortunately, no bath tub in my room.

    8AntoniosPosted on: 12-2-2025

    Location, character, standard, friendliness.

Could have done with tea and coffee making facilities in rooms. Also, coffee machine that actually makes coffee that is hotter than tepid!

I booked this hotel for a stay for my parents for their anniversary. They loved the hotel and said it was luxurious and comfortable and complemented the attentiveness of staff
