Staff were nice

For week I did not have shampoo conditioner . Only shower gel outside the shower that I had to fill it in the cup and Brought to the shower place . Until last day of stay I finally got shampoo and conditioner.

Price.

Bed was small and hard.

Friendly staff, clean room, great shower

Restaurant open upto 21:30. Nice room with airconditioning. Complete breakfast service.

Good location and the bed was the most comfortable I had slept in during my time in Scotland in different hotels.

Too many noisy seagulls around

Check in earlier so was perfect, visiting family so location great. Good selection at breakfast and friendly staff

Work station badly stained, menu in room could've been cleaned or replaced as had spills on it. Badly fitted wall plug on floor and very wonky heated towel rail in bathroom

I had two nights of seagull noise and then last day a crane engine right outside the room so broken sleep

Not much. Got parked OK. That's about it

Room very tight. Seagulls on the ledges just outside the window made sleep very difficult. Room too warm. Tried to go to the bar at 11.30 Saturday night. Closed to me even though there were many patrons there drinking. Explanation was if there is a function residents can't use the bar (not the main bar mind you, which was closed, the small bar)! Absurd!

Location

The pillows were too hard and I could not get well rested.The restaurant for.dinner was unsatisfactory. Firstly they didn’t bring the starters ordered and the ran out of fish for our main

Breakfast was good there was a good selection to choose from, evening meals very good. Hotel room comfortable, did not use gym as we were on holiday so I cannot comment on this.

Staff we’re nice enough, but lacked a bit of enthusiasm in coming forward, were the hotel was situated ment if you wanted to go into town you would have to take the car or bus, as there was nothing outside the hotel to do, luckily we found locals who helped us out regarding buses to get into the city centre, as taking the car would have been a nightmare for parking. When we booked this hotel we thought we would step outside and find lots of local things to do and see, what can I say no. No photos worth adding.

Great breakfast, room got cleaned daily with fresh beddings and towels. Enjoyable stay

Nice bar and restaurant. Reception was first class and addressed the problem we had with the first room given to us.

The first room given to us had a chocked drain in the shower that flooded the area. The new room was given to us, but there was no problem, although the shower seal was not very clean.. breakfast was cooked well but could have been a bit warmer. That's the problem with buffet type meals. Overall meals were tasty and we'll cooked.

Location was ok

We had 2 rooms 101 and 103 and had no heating for both nights in 103 and one night without in 101. We were given a convector heater which was not powerful enough to heat the room. Breakfast was poor quality and plates and glasses were dirty with old food on them. Will not go back.

Well presented

Bridal and friends room messy lots of dust behind beds . House keepers walking in without knocking . Booked breakfast with our stay and got told we couldn’t get when going down for breakfast. Only to be told later we could off but breakfast finished then . This was not compensated, nor offered . At wedding reception food and drink got taken of tablets when I nipped for a toilet to be returned to table being all clear and food n drink disposed off even tho other tables were still eating and drinking . Allot of food and drink wasted !

Well presented, good quality food. No complaints!

Some of the staff were not totally confident using the computer/ IT system to work out bills . A friend had a “ deal” with Itison ( which is why we went) , it ended up being very problematic… right from the initial booking, to paying for drinks.

Wonderful experience. Family room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly.

Poor room conditions, broken items in the room, floor boards creeky, no fresh towels when placed in bath, no shower gel (bottle empty) no top up if tea and biscuits for 2nd night - for £160 a night it was poor.

Very good value for money, everything clean and good quality including restaurant. Enjoyed my dinner and only £10 for breakfast booked the night before is very reasonable. I liked the staff all seemed happy & were friendly :-)

Bed bit hard but personal preference & still got good sleep overall, so not a problem really

Location, comfy bed, goid quality food

No soundproofing for window, draft around window, nousy fridge, musty smell on entering room, bedside reading lamp gooseneck lead broken, downright in bathroom not working. Priced on high side.
