    Pros +

    • Location was great. Subway stop is across the street. Market next door that has most things needed. This isn't a hotel, so the front desk is there limited hours.
    • Hotel employee made our stay wonderful!
    • The location of the building is excellent. It's within walking distance to every major attraction in central Madrid. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we really enjoyed having access to a full kitchen. A massive bonus was having two grocery stores very close by, with one literally right next to the apartment building, and the other right around the corner.

    Cons -

    • The A/C is very strong, but the thermostat to control it didn't really seem to work. The A/C produced exactly the same amount of cold air regardless of the temperature or fan setting, so it was a little cold in the evenings. A roll of paper towels would have been helpful to include as part of the initial supplies provided. The drains were a little slow on the sinks and the showers. The initial description of the apartment claimed that there would be a washer/dryer, but the unit only had a washer. They did provide a drying rack, so we used that instead for our clothes, but it obviously took longer to dry than expected.
    • The shower sometimes leaks a bit but not a huge issue. The bathroom sink leaked around the faucet. And it was clogged up so took ages to drain. A bit more space for personal items in the bathroom would be handy. The washing machine had some trouble draining and spinning but we got it to work in the end.Sometimes noisy from upstairs flats moving furniture very late at night. A few more electrical outlets near the table or beds would be great.Staples like oil, salt and pepper would also be welcome. If you have a very early arrival in Madrid you won't be able to enter to leave luggage etc until reception opens at 8. Just something to bear in mind. We found an early bird café some blocks away and waited there.
    • No hot water in the shower for our first night of stay and it’s very annoying especially after a long flight in winter. And the staff can’t do anything about it except to asking us to wait for the water heater tank to work. We finally have hot water the next day morning. Moldy washing machine.

Super convenient location for walking everywhere. 2 supermarkets right below (one runs 24hs) and convenience stores, cafés etc all around. The flat is modern and nicely furnished. Suitable for a family of 4. The sofa bed is comfy enough and the beds are good. The kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom is a good size and well equipped. All very clean.Staff at reception are on site from 8am and very friendly. Not noisy from the street apart from a few sirens.

Loved location, Apartment in general, security, ability to drop luggage early. This is my 2nd time use MH apartments Madrid and would highly recommend to others.

I didn't expect the twin beds to be in same room as living space & sofa bed. I expected a seperate bedroom.

Perfect location. Walkable to all attractions, metro stop across the hotel, 24h Carrefour and Lidl at the entrance. The room was clean and had all we needed.

Could be a bit less expensive.

Friend fell down and get hurt really seriously. No any reimburse just a sorry

I am writing this review to warn other travelers after a horrifying experience that resulted in a severe injury and a complete failure of duty of care from MH Apartments.During our stay on October 1st, my friend slipped in the dangerously slippery shower of Room 34. The shower floor has a poorly designed ceramic layer with a round drain hole, making it extremely hazardous. She fell onto a broken section of the floor, suffering a deep 30cm laceration on her hip.Dangerous Infrastructure: The shower in Room 34 is a safety hazard. We were later moved to Room 45, which has a flat, smooth, and safe shower floor, proving that the dangerous design of our initial room was the direct cause of this accident.Complete Abandonment in an Emergency: This was the most distressing part. After the severe fall, with my friend bleeding heavily, we tried frantically to contact hotel staff for first aid or help. No one answered. We were forced to call the Spanish emergency services ourselves. As first-time visitors who don't speak Spanish, we begged the hotel staff to help us communicate with the ambulance, but they refused. We were left alone, panicked, and without any support during a medical crisis. My friend was taken to the hospital by ambulance and underwent immediate surgery. Even upon our return from the hospital, we could not reach anyone to change rooms. We have tried to resolve this formally with the management, providing a detailed breakdown of medical expenses and other losses, but their response has been inadequate, attempting to dismiss this as an "unfortunate accident" rather than accepting responsibility for their unsafe premises and negligent staff. This was not just a bad stay; it was a traumatic event that ruined our trip and caused significant physical, emotional, and financial harm. I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere for their safety and peace of mind.

Very modern apartment, comfortable beds, good shower, great location right by Tirso de Molina metro station in the centre of Madrid. Supermarkets, bars and restaurants are on the doorstep.

I like the location, the apartment was nice. Neat and clean. It’s a bit pricey. Once we were given what I had booked, I will say the stay was good.

I reserved a 2 bedroom penthouse. I had multiple phone calls and e-mails with booking as well as mh apartments about the location of the bathrooms and bedrooms as I needed 1 of the bedrooms to be in the first floor. The apt that they gave me both bedrooms were on the loft/second floor and there was no privacy for the bathroom. This presented a problem since we were elderly adults. I talked t with the reception area to tell them this was not what I had reserved. They said they could not change my apt that day that I had to wait until the next day that they would have what I reserved. This is unacceptable since we were in Madrid only 2 days and the other apartment would not be available until 3pm the following day. This is cut into the time we had for leisure in our trip, since we could not unpack, and also there was no privacy in the loft for 2 couples. If you needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night you would have to go downstairs not to disturb the other couple. I called booking.com and expressed my disappointment. They said to reach out to mh apartments which I plan to do so.

The location seemed good for where we went. It was nice to have a grocery store so close.

There was currently road construction that was happening outside our apartment. Very loud at times, I could also hear the Metro. The beds were not comfortable. I feel the cost per night was a little high.

Great apartment in a clean modern building. We were four and very comfortable throughout. A very short walk to the Plaza Mayor and central Madrid.

Square across building and side street under construction. A little chaotic, traffic, construction noises and very busy until late at night. Rowdy crowds on weekends even with the square mostly closed.

Very spacious, clean apartment with full equipments and perfect location.

    9GeorgePosted on: 9-26-2025

Centrally located , accessible to Metro. Very clean and spacious.Staff was very helpful. Next to grocery stores.

The bathtub area did not have a door which seemed strange. The Nespresso machine could do with instructions.

    Good space, nearby supermarkets

dirty, bad smell, low class neighborhoods

The apartment was very new, modern and clean. It had a great kitchen and laundry machine. Location was superb.

The park across the street can be noisy (just close the windows).
