    Pros +

    • Staff were friendly and helpful
    • Close to metro. Walking distance to restaurants and museums. Supermarket was just 2 doors away. Great water pressure in the shower.
    • Wheelchair accessible room. Staff was great.

    Cons -

    • Room was a little bit small but still clean and comfortable
    • It's located right next to a bar with drunk revelers making loud noises past 2a. Wore earplugs the entire night but the walls/windows did a poor job insulating noise. A miserable experience. Lots of graffiti and the neighborhood did not feel safe.
    • Parking car elevator. It was a bit scary and stressful but overall a good experience.

    The staff was really helpful

There was no safe box and no refridgerator.

Service was great, the location amazing, it is within walking distance from Madrid Landmarks like Reina Sofia Museum and el Prado Park and Museum. The attention exceptional.

In winter, heating is not kept in a confortable temperature. I recommend a bigger room that probably have closets and places to organize personal stuff if you are planning to stay more than two days.

Desayuno. Lots of variety. All the staff, servers, houskeeping, concierge: all super capable, helpful. Greeted in and sent off with polite enthusiasm.Super easy to get in and out of the lobby-we are active enough seniors but really appreciate the wide sliders to enter the property.Lavapies has an enthusiastic level of sounds all the time, but our room was peaceful and we had an unexpected view over the adjoining roofs towards a pie-slice of Madrid.

I wish I understood earlier that desayuno had a charge. However, it was a fair price and it ended up being fine, of course.

The staffs are helpful and the Breakfast offered in the hotel. Although the same items are served daily but it helped since nearby restaurants does not provide American breakfast.

The neighborhood has drunk individuals shouting and fighting. The Garbage in front of the hotel, pillows and towels that are small and thin.

    Location

Rooms were rusty, there were voices from outside. I didnt feel safe in there. There wasnt amenities in the room, just towels. Room had depressing air.

    clean bedbig showercentral location.pleasant help.

Room was so small had to walk sideways to get around. No bidet, nor spray hose to wash with in WC roomNo hot pot to heat tea/coffee with.AIR CONDITIONING, as in all sealed buildings LACKS HUMIDITY AND CAUSES NOSE BLEEDS and sinus headaches.Lighting was so dim, we had to use flashlights/torches to see with (even with all the bulbs on).

Clean, modern room. Great breakfast and personnel were awesome! Right next to a metro station. There is a 24 hr supermarket next door, and little stores about. Taxi stop right in front of the hotel.

In the words of the cab driver, the neighborhood was nice but not so now. The surroundings are run down, but everyone minded their business and had no issues. The room is small- no cabinetry to store your belongings; I opened the suitcase and slid it under the bed. Think about a cruise ship interior room.

Located in quiet residential area in walking distance to public transportation. Good breakfast and very friendly staff.

    Cramped. Kinda small.

Good budget option, very minimal, but clean and comfortable.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean, service was good.

The location wass extremely bad. Pretty unsafe at night and early morning. Also, they only offer a all in one soap, shampoo, and body wash, so we ended up buying our own higiene supplies.

The staff are very special and attentive. The room is clean and the location is excellent, just a few steps from the metro. Next door, there’s a supermarket to save you when hunger strikes at odd hours. We loved it!

I missed having a minibar in the room.

My wife and I spent four nights at the Ibis B Centro Lavapiés and found it very convenient. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable for our purposes, which were to spend the night, take a shower, and keep walking the zone. Indeed, what we liked most was its location, very close to the Reina Sofia Museum, and also within walking distance from the Museo del Prado, Parque del Retiro, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. We were gladly surprised by the lively and enjoyable cafés and restaurants in Lavapiés Centre. Another feature we appreciated was that our hotel was easily accessible from and to the airport. It is only a 20-minute walk from the Atocha Station and close to other Metro stations in a pretty secure area.

The room was somewhat small and had limited features for storing clothes and luggage. Not a big issue, in any case. What the hotel management might want to address, however, is that the shower door keeps leaking water when someone is showering. Everything seems brand new, but the door's insulation needs repair. The second detail is that the room needs better noise insulation. Lavapiés is a lively neighborhood until late, especially on weekends. Even if the street noise is not overwhelming, it is still quite noticeable from inside the room.

Very clean and great location except that during the night tends to be noisy because of the surroundings

    Noisy during night

Pleasant personal, fast problem solving, quality of furniture, cost. My experience of 5 days of living here was very excellent.

Ask inner room if you don't like loud street. The street actually is not loud by cars, but sometimes (maybe high season) homeless people can shout at night or listem loud music.
