    • When I arrived for my check-in no one was there to let me in. I called the number several times and rang the door, but no reply. I had to last minute find another place to stay the night. Unacceptable behaviour from their side.

I initially was hesitant to book here because of the reviews, but I'm glad I did. I had a spacious double room with a shared bathroom. The facilities were clean and relatively quiet, the staff at check in were nice. I highly recommend this hostel if you plan on staying in Madrid.

There was nothing I could complain about.

    the location was nice

our keys were not working on the last day and we couldnt enter the hotel, to our room. and there were no staff we could communicate. and in the nights there were no toilet paper in the toilets. that was hard.

Good stay over-all. Location was perfect. They refunded us the payment for the rooms we did not get on the first night. Great communication despite the language barrier. Quick response to our queries.

Booked 2 bedrooms but we were told our rooms were not available due to overbooking. We were given 1 triple room with shared bathroom and toilet for one night. We were given the right bedrooms on the second night.

Good Location and the staff is polite

The room was very cold and the heating system did not work at all. Despite informing the receptionist about this issue, I was ignored and nothing was done. Because of the cold, I became sick. There is no staff present during the night, which made me feel unsafe. Strangers rang the doorbell late at night, and no one was there to control or assist. I could not sleep for two nights because of the noise and insecurity.Additionally, the hostel has very poor sound insulation. All the noise from the street and nearby clubs can be clearly heard inside the room, making it impossible to rest. There is also no kitchen or place to cook, which was not clearly stated

Good location in the centre of Madrid

Rooms were freezing, bed sheets had hair on them, staff were late for check-in and we weren’t notified that the roads were closed for one night of our stay, meaning we couldn’t get to the hostel so we had nowhere to stay. We were instead told that ‘everybody knows the road closes’ as though the hostel is not meant for non locals who don’t know the area…

It was pretty clean and the common room was fine.

The beds are very uncomfortable and the room for 10 people has windows with zero noise isolation, being right next to a VERY busy street it was almost impossible to sleep there. Unfortunately there is no kitchen. And the staff was not very accommodating and friendly.

Just the location and reasonably clean.

No heating during the night, it was so cold that I had to sleep in my jacket with gloves on and still felt chilly. There was no proper cover available, only some thin and very worn out blankets. The window had no insulation and wind was blowing on me even with it fully closed. The matress was worst than any of the matresses i slept on, on multiple caminos in 8 euro albergues municipales. Unisex small bathroom and plumbing barely worked. When i came back at 2 am (new year's eve) another traveller was locked outside his room in the corridor for a full hour because his key didnt work and the staff did nothing to help him (other then run to ask me to open for him). He was ready to call the police to get his stuff so as to not lose his flight. Not to mention posters with mottos like "bitch respect the rules" "clean after yourself your mother isn't here" that claimed to charge you 150 euros for smoking or accidentally opening the door for another traveller (the irony right?). For this price seriously just stay anywhere else in Madrid, better and cheaper. Not worth putting yourself in danger.

Just the location is Perfect in the City Center.

BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK!.I booked Private Double room with Shared Bathroom for me & my wife almost one & half month in advance, and when i reached in Spain, just before one day they messaged & said that they cannot accommodate us in that room & CANCELLED my booking. So now, unfortunately at the last moment I had to select two beds in Mixed sharing room to be with my wife as I had left with no choice. This was totally unprofessional & pathetic they could do to anyone who had planned well in advance. Also the checkin time was 3 pm, but there was no one in the reception to help us get checked in and we had to wait for almost 2 hours for another person to come & proceed with the checkins. So many people where just waiting for nearly 2 hours. This was something I had never experienced earlier. DISGRACE!!!!

    Location is amazing.

I disliked everything, very dirty washrooms, very bad rooms, very bad beds, no privacy, super noisy, you keep ringing nobody opened the building gate, reached here and they told me we don’t have your booking i showed booking.com they day doesn’t matter it must be in our system, after waiting 15 minutes when i called booking.com they said i found you, you are transferred to another location i showed him my booking and i didn’t get any communication like that, finally they accommodated me in a very bad room.

    Terrible! Cancelled on us, didn't...

We arrived and they had told us that they had overbooked and there was a fault with Booking.com. They had sent us an email the day before to say that the booking wasn't going ahead but hadn't cancelled on booking.com. We didn't see the email because we were travelling. They didn't even try to call us or inform Booking.com. They offered no help to find a different place. We had to book somewhere more expensive and spend time doing that and going to the new place we booked rather than enjoying our time in Madrid. The guy at the reception didn't even apologise and made it sound like it was our fault for not checking our emails for less than 24 hrs. WORST SERVICE AND HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER!! DON'T BOOK THIS PLACE - THERE ARE OTHER REVIEWS ON GOOGLE THAT SAY THE SAME THING.

The location is superb and it is very cheap.

I think they let people stay for too long. There was a guy in my room who was having a video call through out the night and cried the whole night. People were super loud.

According to the comments I read before coming, we expected something really bad.But in reality it was clean, we didn't wait for check-in, there were no bed bugs, the covers had a sheet and we had towels. The location is perfect, there is noise but it's not terrible. The toilets, although shared, were clean. We would come back again!

    6SaksidaPosted on: 10-5-2025

My bed was in a nice position, so I didn’t get as much noise from the busy street. Also my roommates were very polite and silent, so I slept pretty good.

The showers are kind of uncomfortable and there was no soap in the toilets. Also, when we were checking in, it took ages. There was a very long line in the lobby trying to check-in, but the hotel reception was working very slowly on this.
