They sent me a code to get into the door and collect the key so I new when we arrived that we would have no problem getting in. We had very little time to see the Guernica so the location was perfect and room clean and quiet

We stayed 3 days in October 2025. The studio room was modern, clean, functional, with a very well equipped kitchen. All entrances are code-based and we didn't have a chance to see the owners. The WiFi connection was exceptionally good exceeding 500 Mbps and stable. The hotel is not offering a parking, but is located within walking distance from Atocha train station, which makes it easily reachable from the airport by train, and the city center tourist attractions can also be reached on foot - perfect location.

When the appartment is accessible by code, you never know who else knows the code.

Quiet little street. I stayed a week. My studio was big, very clean, had everything you need. Very comfortable overall. Easy check-in. Codes and instructions emailed. Could leave suitcase if you come early. One of the best apartments I rented...

Very spacious and clean. Great location, near the subway stop. Lots of little stores to grab a bite and even a grocery store near by.

Not much to dislike, a suggestion would be to add a chain lock or something on the inside of the door to increase safety. The smart lock is great from out to in but when you’re in, a little added security would be comfortable

Great location next to Atocha Terminal, very clean and fully equipped kitchen. Lockers at the bottom were very helpful since we arrived too early for checkin. Still they let us check in an hour early. Wifi available from ground floor was helpful. A/C worked great.

The street can get very dark at night since the lamppost in front didn’t work.

The location was walking distance to main train station as well as local metro station and bus stops. It made it convininet to travel to most of the tourist attractions as well as out of city trains to Toledo. The apartment building and the aprtment itself was very clean. The location was very safe for living with a family. The host was very friendly, helpuful and accomodating.

This apartment was located very near to the places we wanted to visit. It was well-furnished and comfortable. One bed was firmer (which I need), and one was softer; both had comfortable bedding and pillows. The amenities were excellent: the air conditioning worked great, dishwasher was quiet, access was easy, shower was pleasant, fridge was good size, etc. The area was quiet, the luggage lockers were useful, and the staff was friendly and helpful. You can tell they have put thought into these flats for visitors.

The smaller bedroom did not have any place for clothing, which wasn’t inconvenient for our short stay, but others may find it helpful to have a small clothes rack or shelf.

Noise from the other rooms and street

Clean, modern, good location-walking distance to del Prado, Museo de Reina Sofia, and the train station. Everything else is not far.

Really a nice location. Many restaurants and museums nearby. Only a 10 minute walk from the train station.

From the very beginning, the stay was frustrating. The building uses automatic locks, and guests are not allowed to enter their rooms even a minute before the official 4:00pm check-in time. We arrived slightly early and, like others, were left waiting outside until the exact moment — not a very welcoming start.We stayed in apartment 1C, which was quite spacious, but unfortunately the bathroom was in poor condition. There was visible water damage on the walls and it clearly needs significant maintenance and repair.Another major downside was the attitude of the on-site staff. Both the handyman and the cleaning lady were unhelpful and quite unfriendly. Despite our efforts to greet or speak with them, they responded rudely and didn’t make guests feel welcome at all.Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. The apartments are not maintained to the standard you’d expect for the price, and the atmosphere lacks any warmth or hospitality. I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

Great location within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. Nice, well-equipped kitchen.

Getting in was frustrating and overly complicated. Check-in time was 4:00 pm. Every other place we stayed was 3:00 pm. As requested, I notified the property of our flight arrival time and that we would arrive at the property between 3 and 4 pm. We arrived at 3:30 and were unable to get in. I called the property number provided on the reservation and was told I'd reached the Barcelona office, not Madrid. She offered to give me the Madrid number. I didn't have anything to write on, then she hung up on me. We had to wait for a half hour in a tiny, claustrophobic hallway until 4 for the door to be unlocked remotely. Communications were cold, impersonal and corporate. Living room was very cramped when sofa bed was open.

This location was excellent for visiting the Reina Sofia and the Prado. The street is extremely narrow with little vehicle traffic, and the rooms face a small courtyard, so was quiet at night.

The bathroom is a bit tight to get in the shower, but it is manageable. There were three questionable people loitering in the entrance alcove. They left some graffiti, but it was removed within a few hours. It did not seem unsafe to me.

Clean and spacious apartment. Well equipped for a self-catering holiday. Comfortable beds. Good shower. Able to control the apartment temperature. Very close to all major tourist attractions. Supermarkets also close by.

The kettle did not turn off when the water boiled so we had to manually shut it down. The kitchen sink did not have a plug so we wasted water washing small crockery items. We were informed by email the check-in time of 14.00 hrs but the door lock would not let us in. We were given the wrong telephone number by Booking.com to get hold of the apartment owners. We eventually got through to a person who could not speak English very well. We were told the normal check-in time was 16.00 hrs and we would have to wait. Hence we waited for 1.5 hours before we could enter. An American couple experienced the same thing. Lastly, the apartment and the external areas are not covered by fire detection, (e.g. smoke/heat detectors), although there is emergency lighting on the stairs. Hence, if you are in one of the upper apartments and a fire breaks out, by the time you smell it, it is very unlikely you will escape alive.
