Pros +
- Room and comfortble bed
- I love the Monte Real. A bonus is the Pedro Sanchez grocery store close by and the ATM close by
- The cleanliness of the bedroom and the kindness of the hotel staff
Cons -
- exterior was drab
- If you’re a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs, it can get a bit noisy sometimes because of the nearby highway
- The lack of any sort of hospitality (bar or restaurant) during the summer month. Now way to grab a drink or a coffee, apart from the breakfast service.

Overall, the hotel was as expected, however, for a stay in summer, the bar/restaurant was closed with only a vending machine as the sole option for drinks. Breakfast was basic - for a boutique hotel, i was expecting more on the hospitality side. The was no room service option either. considering the price, expecting to be able to buy a drink other than at a vending machine is not going above and beyond.
The lack of any sort of hospitality (bar or restaurant) during the summer month. Now way to grab a drink or a coffee, apart from the breakfast service.
My first impression was, that the reception personnel were professional and friendly. The room was sparkling clean, truly excellent, and spacious with a very large comfortable bed. The bathroom was also very exceptionally designed.
No kettle.
The girl who worked the front desk in the afternoons, I can't remember her name, was the most the helpful and nicest person, I have met working in a hotel. She told us places to eat; she would ask us how our day went and always kept the lemon water in the front reception room filled up. The breakfast was good, and we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant, and it was really good. The rooms are nice and very clean.
The only thing about the hotel, it's not near anything, you would have to Uber or Taxi to get to the middle of Madrid or any sites, most of the time it would take about 20 minutes. The hotel is a neighborhood with a lot of apartments and houses. The area is nice and had a park to walk across the street to, but we didn't do that.
The employees were very nice & always ready to help with anything. The evening receptionist, was extremely friendly Sidrería Mingo, and so very helpful. The hotel was really nice and beautiful. Breakfast was always good.
It was wasn’t close to any shopping or dining areas. It was a very pretty neighborhood but a taxi or uber was always necessary to go anywhere in the city.
Good breakfast, nice staff, very clean
Very old, paint going off of the windows, very small bed
The decoration and the free-from options on the breakfast
No coffee making facilities in the room. I have to travel with my own kettle.
Nice spacious room with storage places. Nice bathroom (could be larger).I appreciated the gym.
The location is far from anything. Breakfast only starts at 8am during weekend, which is a bit late to be ready to work at 9 far away. No metro at proximity.
The service and friendliness of the staff was impeccable. They provided me with the upmost care during my stay,
The restaurant in the lobby is a disgrace! I do not recommend it. When looking at the website, you think you will have an exquisite gastronomical experience when in reality it is very far from that! When I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich in my room, half of the chicken was still raw! I was worried to get salmonella. When I opted to order a much safer option next time, the Cesar salad came as a pre-cut lettuce with a disgusting supermarket like bought dressing sauce.
Nice large room. Great bathroom.
the gym could have been better. Also, for the price I paid, it could have had more facilities.
Location was good for El Pardo town but not close to Madrid city center at all.
It was always Freezing coldThey always kept the heating off and you had to ask the staff to turn on the fan but each time you had to wear a jacket and long sleeves to workout. The gym had only 1 very old and out of date treadmill from the 1990s. No elliptical. 1 weight machine. 2 old models of stationary bikes. The reception and restaurant were always freezing cold. Never comfortable. The food was always just warm but never piping hot. In the breakfast area they never ever had Classic Black tea or English Breakfast tea.The bedroom wallpaper was peeling and the room was always cold. They charged is €15.00 for staying an extra hour in the room. The staff had very low level of English speaking skills. We had to use google translate with them in the restaurant and breakfast area. Adrian was the only fluent person there in the reception. The dry cleaning looked like it was done in house and despite writing everything down in Spanish and English they Washed and Laundered everything as opposed to dry cleaning some item’ and laundered others as they were meant to do.
Convenient location and very good value for money. Secure parking. Very comfortable, spacious and well appointed accommodation.

The location neighbourhood was very quiet, room was spacious, bed was moving from the wall but was comfortable breakfast was good, hot food, cereal ,and selection of fruits was available. You can catch the Bus 133 and 83 bus stop are about about 6-8mins walk, if you are going towards Callao and also to get on the Metro.Staff at the reception Alejandro, was very proffessional, welcoming and helpful
Breakfast Staff and lady ATC the front desk very polite and professional
There is no bellman nor a cart to bring up the luggage from the lobby. And there’s no ramp to move the suitcases from the lobby, only stairs My mother is an older person, so I had to pull up and carry her suitcases and mine one by one, it was a long stay so there was a lot of luggage.
Clean, Great stuff, cooperative team
No well Study table and chair is static. The hotel is far from any service but excellent for relaxation
The stuff are marvelous they just want to help u with a big smile I like the garden at the hotel the room are huge very clean.
Breakfast are dull no more choices the sitting room dark no more light the balcony no chair to sit and the place out dated.out of the center.but it’s okay u can take a bus.
The hotel is characterized by its tasteful design and cleanliness, and by the friendliness and helpfulness of its staff. The rooms are nice and spacious, with comfortable beds and cushions. And the restaurant serves great food. The surrounding area is attractive. It’s very convenient that you can catch Bus 82 and get to the Complutense university and as far as Moncloa, from which you can take the metro to any point in town, all for just one and a half euros.
On the second morning there was no hot water — something failed. The bathroom should have a hook near the shower to hang the towel. The air conditioning device should have simple instructions next to it. And, most importantly, the chairs in the rooms and in the restaurant are grungy — their textile covers look old and seedy, with stains from all the previous users.
