Pros +
- La localizaci¿n buena
- Great position.
- We stayed at this hotel during our summer vacation, and the experience was excellent! The location is absolutely perfect – right in the heart of Madrid, just next to Mercado de San Miguel, with all major attractions within walking distance. The cleanliness was outstanding – everything was spotless and well-maintained.I also want to highlight the staff, who were incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help.Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy Madrid with a perfect location and great service!
Cons -
- I'll be talking about Petit Palace Plaza Mayor, because Plaza Espana was closed for renovation and I was moved there. Parts of the room were damaged. The electric outlet of the hair drier was broken, exposing live wires (dangerous!). The shower's sylicone seal was inefficient and it flooded the bathroom. My wife's Pijamas was taken away with the towels on the bed and not recovered. They said if they find them, I'll have to pay for the shipment. Bathroom had no ventilation.
- Can be noisy outside at times, but that’s the price of a central spot in Madrid
- Did not look like 4 star hotel. More like 3 star. But it was clean and the staff lovely and the location is great

Very good location and clean rooms and stuff were friendly . Breakfast was excellent
We couldn't have asked for a more central place. The room was very spacious, very clean and the staff extremely helpful. The breakfast was tasty, good value for money.
We were moved from Petit Palace Plaza to Petit Palace Plaza Mayor, supposedly due to renovations. However, we later passed by the original hotel and saw it was open and operating normally, which left us feeling misled. There were a few positives: the check-in was smooth, the location is great – close to many attractions – and we appreciated the welcome gesture with two bottles of water, a postcard of Madrid, and two chocolates in the room.Unfortunately, the rest of the stay didn’t meet expectations for a 4-star hotel. The lobby looked outdated and in need of renovation. Our room faced an internal corridor and had a gap under the door that let in light all night. We could hear everything from nearby rooms. The minibar didn’t cool properly. Wallpaper was dirty and wrinkled, and under the bed was clearly not clean. The bathroom design was also poor – the shower flooded the entire floor. The bathroom door was only partially frosted, with just a strip of film to block the view, which was uncomfortable. One elevator was broken, and the other was extremely slow to close its doors.Overall, this felt like a downgrade rather than an upgrade. The hotel does not match the comfort and quality expected of a 4-star property.
We have booked this hotel and paid more than one month in advance. But just few days before our arrival, we received e-mail from the hotel that they transferred us to another facility (Petit Palace Postada del Pleine) hotel which belong to the same company. They said that the original hotel would be closed temporarily 1st of April for complete renovation. Of course no body can believe that. Renovation of a hotel cannot be planed in just a few days! So, we haven’t stay in Petit Palace Plaza España.The hotel that we stayed in is very old without isolation, and therefore was a lot of noise coming from outside. The only thing which was positive was its location in the heart of Madrid.
Everything is on pointLocation, Price, the room and the staffHighly recommended

Very kind staff, great hotel with everything you need, even cosmetic accessories in case you forgot yours. The location is perfect, near so many famous buildings and monuments to visit. We were walking to see everything, except the Santiago Bernabeu for which we used public transportation and it is wonderful! The subway is clean, cheap, fast and easy to use. I would recommend staying at this hotel!

Location . Staff and clean hotel
Did not look like 4 star hotel. More like 3 star. But it was clean and the staff lovely and the location is great
Amazing hotel with great location, can walk to all Madrid attractions and staff were very nice. Room was beautiful and had everything we needed.
The location is good. Everything is on a walking distance. The room is clean
The bed is small, creaky, not comfortable. Lack of equipment. I think for a four stars hotel, I was expecting at least a kettle, a coffee maker. But nothing was there.
Location okay, city centre.
From start, Booking.com free Airport taxi to hotel, failed. No Show.Hotel just not 4* only judged as 2* into opinionAm compiling email with photos toBookking.com.

Nice building and clean with very nice garden view
Rooms and bathrooms need to be restored
only the location is suitable
Especially the shape of the room and the location of the room. It lets in outside sounds. The shower runs alternately hot and cold.
It was a comfortable stay
The hot water was not continuous. After a while you get used to the cycle :)The walls were so thin so that I had to listen to the “party” next room all night long.In addition, there was a constant squeak from the roof.
