Pros +
- Location was exceptional The shower was great, with high pressure
- Staff were very helpful. Room was tight but clean. The bathroom was great.
- Location was fabulous - central for walking to all the fabulous things in Madrid. Room was small but modern and comfortable.
Cons -
- Reserved 2 beds and was given bunk beds in a micro room of 7 by 9 ft. A 3 star hotel should not offer bunk beads unless it makes it explicitly clear about it. I felt it was deceitful. I was offered to pay extra for a regular hotel room.
- Very tight space.
- Very busy reception with only one staff member to handle everything, so things took a little time. My safe was broken and it took a long time for this to be attended too due to reception being busy. I then had to wait around the next morning for a maintenance person to fix it, so this delayed my morning. I was offered use of the general hotel safe, but felt uncomfortable with this. Also, the walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything going on in the hall, doors slamming and people talking, which can interrupt sleep.

The hotel was nice and comfortable, and the location was good. However, whenever we needed something (such as towels), we had to go down to the lobby ourselves, as there was no room service provided to our room. There were also no complimentary treats or amenities offered.
The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the tourist area but not on the main street, so you're minutes from everything but without the noise. You also have a metro station right next to the hotel.Shower is very good, air condition work perfect. Overall good VFM
About the room- they're definatly small, both the room itself and the bed, so keep that in mind, you probably don't want to book the smallest one.
The location is excellent, very close to all the main places to see and to the metro station. The breakfast is very good, and the staff are also great. Bianca, thank you so much for handling my situation with the room.
The main downside of this hotel is the very poor sound insulation. Initially, I was assigned a room next to the elevator, and it was absolutely unbearable. You can hear the elevator constantly, and more importantly, you hear everything people say while waiting for it. The noise is continuous, there is no sense of privacy, and it is extremely difficult to rest under these conditions. For the second night, my room was changed, and I was given an upgrade, for which I am very grateful. However, it is important to note that if you book a single room, you are very likely to be placed in this area, and it can seriously affect your ability to rest.
Modern, clean and in the heart of the city.
It was close to the metro station.Lots of restaurants and shopping. The room was small, but comfortable. Our interior room was very quiet.
It would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room
The hotel's location and the staff's excellent service
small wardrobe
Beds were comfy
Rooms need refurbishment sockets hanging off walls and sink tap broken
Great location just around the corner from Gran Via and short walk to Sol with lots of shopping and squares with beautiful buildings and places to eat. Hotel felt very safe with key card entrance and 24 hr reception. Staff were very helpful.
The laneway it is in isn’t very nice but it such a good location otherwise that it makes up for it and there is a handy supermarket across the street. Bathroom was a bit small.
Friendly fast service.location perfect.Beds very comfortable. But breakfast wasn't that good so we have it for 1 day only.
Breakfast wasn't that good.
Good breakfast with alot of choices to eat. Location good not far away from Gran Via and Puerta del sol.
The shower and the heating are amazing! Super clean and super near to the Gran Via metro station.
The card was sometimes hard to open up the doors but it's all good.
Perfect location, you are literally in the heart of the city. The staff is so great (especially Blanca)It was my birthday and I even got the sweet message and coockies with champaign ???Super clean, new towels every day, it has really everything you need.
The location
The hotel is in need of a significant renovation. While the rooms were clean, the bathrooms clearly showed signs of aging. There was moisture on the ceiling, the glass panels were cloudy, and there was visible mold around the edges of the shower.
Helpful staff. Good location.
This is a 3-star hotel so it cannot be expected to be more than that.
Location good. Staff excellent.
Telephone was not good
Good sized bathroom. Sleeping area a bit tight.
No view
Excelent location, very clean, quiet, very nice bathroom and ammenities. Hotel staff was polited. Very nice breakfast when served in the restaurant.
Breakfast starts too late, 7:30.I asked for breakfast to go, for 7:00 a.m. because I had a flight to take. They delivered me a bag with a very poor meal, totally different from the one served in restaurant.Bed was not that good, either.
