Room ok, clean and comfortable. Breakfast staff lovely and friendly.
Reception staff rude
I loved the staff, always willing to help, the breakfast is very complete and the location is really good.
I thought the room was a little small, even with the extra space fir the crib
I was pleased with the hotel and the location. The breakfast was adequate and what I expected and the kitchen staff was polite and attentive. I found two of the male hotel clerks surly, and one of them outright rude
Booking suggested I request an early check-in, which I did. The response was "depending upon availability." That's understandable, Early booking was unavailable, When I showed up at 3 PM to check in the computers were "down" and I had to wait. When I questioned this, mentioning that I had been waiting since 9 AM, I was rudely told, "you should have booked a room for another day." I should add that since the hotel was not full, I had doubts that rooms were unavailable for early check in, I would have appreciated, "let us know how to contact you this morning in the event a room frees up earlier." The female clerk with whom I interacted was polite and helpful.
Beds are ok and the room is pretty standard
The rooms are very noisy. The windows do not keep the street noise out. Also there was quite some noise from both neighbors.
Breakfast was very nice! Location was also great. Not far from central noisy areas but super quiet street. In 30 minutes walk you were in Gran Via and the metro station was 3-4 minutes walk.
Nothing really
The staffs were very nice, the room was clean, the location strategic, close to metro station - we basically walked to city center. The breakfast was good!
Very friendly staff at the front desk. Location was adequate for our purposes. Rooms on the small end, but comfortable and clean.
Nothing to report.
Comfortable room, exceptional cleanliness, friendly front desk, quiet building, close to where I needed to be
Location was good, close to the metro station, room was nice and cozy , the bath tub was something I particularly liked
Lots of place to eat near the hotel. Most places within a 20-30 minute walk.
The lift juddered and didn’t feel too safe after the first use so, we climbed the 5 floors via the stairs. We’d had stayed the first 2 nights in Madrid in another 3 star hotel and the staff there had been overly helpful and welcoming. Needless to say we didn’t receive quite the same welcome here. The gentleman at the desk wasn’t rude, but we weren’t overly welcomed either. I guess if we hadn’t had a bar of expectation we may have been more forgiving. Other than that, the hotel room was clean and acceptable for a 3 star hotel. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel as there are plenty of close cafes and we preferred to sample the local options. The bed was comfortable, the tv only had Spanish channels and we tried to log on to our own Netflix account but we failed to navigate the tv’s settings. I could hear the person in the room next door snoring so the walls are obviously not the most sound proof. Overall clean.
Nice bed, automatic blinds, very quiet room.
The TV remote was broken. The bathroom had no amenities other than a 2-in-1 shower gel and shampoo. I also found a bug on the bed. To be fair, it might have come from outside at some point, but since I hadn’t opened the window (it’s winter), it must have already been there when I checked in. The cleaning staff should not have missed that...
Good location. Clean bedding and comfortable bed.
The hotel facilities were limited, no restaurant - food could be arranged by telephone to a "Deliveroo-type" service, which was to my surprise very good. However, I searched for a hotel with restaurant and this is what came back - a bit of a con as the dining area was only open for breakfast. A vending machine was available in the reception area for snacks and drinks - again not, my choice had I known beforehand. The room appeared relatively clean but I was shocked to find a small cockroach in the bathroom ! The hallway carpets were also badly stained which wasn't apparent at first from the dim hallway lighting. I also found that I needed to extend my stay for a night which, I was informed would cost me an additional €290 - for one night ! I found this extortionate and booked myself into another hotel in the area at two-thirds the price. The breakfast was very disappointing, what appeared to be a good selection was undone by the quality of the food. The scrambled eggs were cold, as was the bacon. Cereals were virtually crushed to powder. Very poor, expensive and disappointing experience overall.
Its a great location, in a quiet area but still within walking distance to several cafes, shops and downtown. The balcony is a really nice place for the morning coffee. Good sized room.
Describing it as a "Boutique Hotel" is maybe a stretch, its a nice 3 star hotel but nothing more.
This is a small hotel in a great location walkable to centre and beside metro. Bars, restaurants, market and breakfast options all on same street. Super clean room
It’s a tiny bit pricey?
Confortable bed good location
I got a room for 2 me and my niece who is studying in Valencia and has a German passport and resident card. She is 19 so only came with the photo of the passport and they made a fuzz about it though I the adult with the reservation and who paid had all the documentation. So make sure everyone staying brings in a passport even if you reside in Spain. Also coffee at the lobby for all would be nice. Also bring in your hair conditioner as there isn’t one
Perfect location, very friendly stuff, room cleanliness on top level, breakfast exceptional, room terrace excelent. It was real pleasure to stay in such a good hotel. Many thanks you made our holidays.
Very expansive , very small room, very small window.
Good location, comfortable bed and extensive breakfast options in the morning.
I could not get the air conditioning to work. Not sure if it was just locked though so the settings could not be changed.
