Cons -
- A/C was not working, they tried to fix it and did an awful job because we spent 5 nights with 2 fans in our room. The hotel had no gesture towards us with this situation, didn't even offer another room, the service is BAD.

Location was great
Lift very busy, we had to use the stairs
Excellent location, convenient to many attractions and restaurants. The breakfast buffet offered many options.
The shower was odd, but this seems true of most hotel showers in Spain. Many, even 4 star hotels, do not have adequate closure, like a full Width door, so that floor does not get saturated. Also, management should consider instructions on how to use, as the hardware, temperature settings, etc. differ greatly from those used in the US.
Good location, helpful and friendly staff. Clean and good breakfast
Excellent location. Staff great especially Luis.
No bat/cafe at hotel.
Location was fantastic, very central, and close to everything that we wanted to see. The metro was a 2 minute walk. Breakfast was good a little crowded, but tasty enough.
The beds were old, and very soft. We asked for a new room, and the beds in the new room were a little better, but still not great.
The room was decent, the hotel was clean, the location was ideal, we felt safe and the breakfast delicious ? - above all the else!
The TV was disconnected. But when we called, the hotel staff came to the rescue quickly to work her magic. She was very friendly, and although it wasn’t perfect, the fact that she came up so quickly and was so engaging with us, that personal touch made all the difference. We didn’t really watch much television anyway.
It was in the centre of the city and next to a metro station. it was very easy to visit all the big plazas
I didn't like the brekfast. i believe it wasn't value for money.
We were doing a 2-month trek across South America and using Madrid as a day's buffer between flights, so all we wanted was a convenient and clean place to explore a bit before moving on.It's exactly what we got. It's in a well-situated location with clean rooms and comfortable beds. It's easy to find and very close to the metro which was great, and we'd stay there again for a longer city break.Breakfast also had plenty of options (healthy and naughty both on offer) which seemed fresh and tasty, and the staff we friendly, well-presented and professional.
Our "room with a view" was of a building across the street with scaffolding - hardly the hotel's fault but maybe don't describe it as something great for the time being :)
The location was great in Gran Via.
The hotel is outdated. It needs remodeling as soon as possible. Noticed there’s other hotels close by that looked newer and a bit more clean than this one.

The location was great as we were very close to so many shops, restaurants, the Palace etc. Breakfast was lovely as lots of choice and food was very fresh. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
The view from our room was not great. The lifts took a while as we were on the 9th floor. The rooms were tired and walls were marked beside the bed. The bathroom was small.
Clean and good location
My friends luggage got stolen whilst paying for the room in the hotel lobby! There’s zero security on this hotel and even do they admitted it happens often! Wouldn’t stay here again because of the lack of security! Also lift is tiny and very slow not ideal if you are on the eleventh floor!
Breakfast was acceptable.
Room size was small. Bathroom was small. Shower was very small. No coffee maker. No small refrigerator. No place in the hotel to work on my computer. Elevator was so small we had to wait 30 minutes the morning we left to Get on one.
Location was great. So was the breakfast.
