    Pros +

    • Second time I was there they tried to be nicer.
    • Beautiful rooms, lobby bar, spa, restaurant and location
    • The hotel was absolutely beautiful and clean and modern, as well as being located in a really hip and fun part of town with a ton of amazing bars and restaurants walking distance. This hotel is tucked away from the touristy areas! Will stay here again!

    Cons -

    • First visit they gave me a small room without double beds and if you want construction site only when I complained they separated the beds. They then gave me the wrong directions to a restaurant
    • the shower was so small un-manueverable
    • Spa is pretty small, mostly a pool and a sauna; no cold plunge.

Great hotel and location. Suites are big and beautiful, with great terraces. Staff is fantastic. Spa is a bit small but treatments and massages are wonderful. Good room service options too.

Spa is pretty small, mostly a pool and a sauna; no cold plunge.

    Everything, great area, great staff

Hard to complain, don’t like the pricing on minibar

    10JenniferPosted on: 8-21-2025

Comfortable beds, good darkening shades, spa services, walkable location. The bathroom was exceptional.

The bathroom garbage bin was awkward, that's all I can think of!

Location is unbeatable, right in the center of Madrid, bordering Chueca and Malasaña (two of my favorite neighborhoods), but in a quiet area. Pretty much everything is within walking distance. The bed is extremely comfortable. It was exactly what I expected. Very recommended.

The lights in the bathroom should be on a dimmer. They were too harsh when waiking up in the middle of the night.

Nice and clean and good location

The spa isn’t included and there isn’t a rooftop. Pictures make it look like there is one.

URSO was an amazing place for our first night of vacation. We really enjoyed the breakfast and pool before heading out to explore Madrid before catching the train.

Inconspicuous. Clean. Classy. Grateful for the upgrade to a less noisier suite. Excellent luggage service. Splendid doorman

Rather minuscuul pool. Changing of the staff. Unassuming service of the front desk.

Great location with Gran Via within walking distance. Very private and non-intrusive. Helpful staff

Concierge services and provision of support to access activities could have been better

    • The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient for exploring Madrid.• The building itself is a beautifully preserved historic palace, which adds charm and elegance to the stay.• The staff were extremely polite, kind, and helpful throughout our visit.

    • I paid nearly €400 for one night, and this was during a low season, right after the end of the holiday period. While the hotel is nice, I’ve stayed in many other 5-star properties at similar prices that offered a much better value for money. The price-quality ratio here feels highly exaggerated.• Water was not complimentary in the room and was charged at €5 per bottle. Similarly, after two included coffees, any additional coffee had to be paid for. This felt quite disappointing for a luxury hotel.• The breakfast buffet was of good quality, but the selection was very limited and underwhelming.• The most frustrating part was the Spa. Despite the description on Booking implying that the Spa, gym, and Wifi were included, access to the Spa was actually charged based on the room type: €35 per person with a standard room, €30 with a deluxe room, and included only with suites (as explained at reception). The Spa itself is a tiny circuit with small pools and a hammam – nothing extraordinary. To make matters worse, we were even offered a room upgrade at check-in just to get a €5 discount on Spa access. This felt absurd and unacceptable for a 5-star luxury hotel, especially given the misleading information on Booking.Overall, while the hotel is decent, the excessive pricing and lack of inclusivity in basic amenities make it hard to justify the cost. There are undoubtedly better options at this price point in Madrid.PS. It is unacceptable for a 5-star luxury hotel to charge extra for basic amenities such as water. These things should be included in the price and reflect the standard of service expected from a property of this category.

Service, room, bathroom, cleanliness, attention of staff, bed

The breakfast was terrible. I expressed this to the staff. I paid for it anyway even though I barely ate anything. All the food in the buffet looked old and most of it was cold, really bad to be honest. A shame because outside of that the experience was pleasant.

great location. you can walk almost everywhere. Quiet location, quiet bedrooms.

the bar on the ground floor seemed understaffed. We had to go find the bartender to order drinks.

    10AndersPosted on: 11-21-2024

The attention of the whole staff was extraordinary from entrance, to front desk, to restaurant, to lounge bar, to cleaning staff - we felt like a family. One day our niece visited us with her daughter and one of the waiters brought a colouring book and pencils for her and later a small doll - so cute, so wellcome. Thank you to everyone (and also to the pianist in the bar that made us want to stay and relax). The hotel is beautiful and located withing walking distance to old town Madrid.
