Location

The towels were very poor and thin. When we asked for addition towels they said they would charge €5 more. There was only 1 hand towel and no washcloths. I was also very unhappy with their policy of charging €200 in cash as a deposit.

The pros. The apartment was clean and pleasant. It had a nice small balcony overseeing the street where you could have a glass of wine and watch the crowd below.The bed was ok and comfortable.The apartment is well located and within walking distance to all areas and Plazas.

The cons: 1.With no valid reason the landlord was uncompromising in letting us access the apartment one hour before 3 PM, yet we paid in full a month before our arrival. 2.The landlord refused to disclose the address of the apartment until the day we arrived; God knows why the secrecy. 3.There is no City view as advertised. 4.The street was extremely boisterous; we were there 4 nights and never got a wink of sleep. People partying all night till 7 am and then the garbage truck cleaning the aftermath kept us awake all night.5.The streetlights light up the bedroom as if it was full daylight.6.The street was dirty and smelled bad. 7.If you have a heart or back condition this place might not be for you as it has no lift and a very narrow staircase making it difficult to carry suitcases or a pram upstairs.8.It advertises a roof top access which does not exist.

1. The location is close to city center and it is convenient to walk to some places of interest. 2. The apartment has washing machines inside the room.

1. The apartment keeps pending the notification to us if early check in is possible until only less than 3 hours approaching the initial required earliest checkin time. If early check-in is not possible, please directly reply to the client rather than wasting both time. 2. Many bars and restaurants are below the apartment and it is very noisy at night. 3. The apartment room is small to hold 2 people.4. The worst thing is about the fraud action of the apartment. They would first charge the client deposit to a seemingly third company platform and then randomly deduct some amount of the deposit for some so-called cleaning reason which the client did not cause, i.e duvet stains and no stain on the quilt cover which is very funny. Unless you want to take picture of every tiny stuff even unzip the quilt cover and look at the duvet carefully once after checkin, then you will be charged by any reason they want to get that money. So pathetic?

Great location! Very convenient and 2 minutes from the metro station. The apartment was very comfortable and clean, had a small kitchen and even a washing machine.

The central location means that it’s noisy, you can hear the busy street very late at night.The apartment lacked some basic products such as additional rolls of toilet paper, more than one garbage bag, salt, pepper and oil.

Property is clean.

No elevator, no luggage storage, deposit of Eur200, they are unable to refund through payment card. None of those was mentioned in the booking page

Extraordinary position of the apartment, in the middle of everything, absolutely!

The fantastic position of the apartment, recommend it for young people, young couples, visiting Madrid and also ready for party non stop!! Happy people’s noise, thousands of people partying all night especially in weekends, don’t allow people who came to visit Madrid, to rest. We are in our fifties so not too old, but we came in Madrid mostly to visit, we were also staying out at terraces up until 10:30-11:00 but not more, so it’s quite hard to get a good night sleep in the area. Again, don’t get me wrong, the atmosphere is awesome but you have to have some clear goals in order to book the apartment!

Very noisy at night outside in the street. Toilet flush not refilling within 30+ minutes. Reported issue but nothing resolved during our stay.

Nice apartment, clean and stylish, very central location. Very close to Sol station and lots of very good eating out.

Note very lively area due to being in the centre of the night life area. On a square where the night life seems to congregate. Note Spanish nightlife goes all night.Kitchen equipment needs updating none of the knives were sharp enough to cut up salads.

The easy of getting into the apartment, the location is right in the heart of the city but also quiet within the apartment, good amenities if wanting to staying in and cook a fab little balcony which would of got the sun through the day if it was out but unfortunately it rained for us but come out on our last morning just before leaving.

It is on the 4th floor so lots of steps to get to this apartment but we knew this when booking but other guests might find this hard as there is no lift

Toilet has a bit of smell. It can get noisy at night as it is above bars.

The apartment has two windows with good light, and is one block away from Puerta del Sol. For one person it is relatively spacious. Good water pressure in the small shower. It has a washing machine (if that's something useful, it wasn't for me) a hair blower, an iron/board and a capsule coffee machine (bring your own, mine had no capsules except the used one which was still in the machine) - I opted for coffee at the café across the street.

I arrived just before 2pm and wasn't allowed to enter the apartment as check-in was 3pm. They said they'd text me to let me know when the apartment was ready, but I waited outside until almost 4pm, without anyone contacting me. At some point I let myself in. The state of repair of the apartment leaves room for improvement. The boiler was dripping all week, and at some point someone from the agency called several times expecting me to stay in to meet a handyman to fix this problem. The kitchenette is old and quite dated, with cabinet doors literally falling off. Sheets and towels are quite old and worn. Same with the bathroom, that also has a pretty bad sewage odor. At night the street is impossibly loud with partygoers and drunks yelling until 4am the entire week. This could be expected in that location, but it made it difficult to rest, watch tv or sleep. There's no cleaning service available, my room wasn't so much as swept in six days. Contact with the agency was very impersonal via text message (unless it was something they wanted). Apartment is OK, but compared to other places in that price range in the area, and especially if you prefer a more personalized service, it doesn't fare too high. I wouldn't choose this one again.

Beautiful apartment with amazing terrace! In the center of Madrid,full of shopping area around and bars!

Unfortunately we didn’t know about deposit for 200€,which U should to pay in during of check-in online,and without that deposit they are not give U entrance in apartment ! And after 2 weeks still money didn’t refund!

The location of the apartment is quite good, very close to any of the attractions, the restaurants around are also very good, the check-in process is clear and simple, and the room is very neat and clean. Everything was perfect!

There will be some noise around at night, but it won't affect the rest

No advance noticed how to get the door keys or maybe someone meet us how to get in the property. It s very frustrating after the long flight you didn’t know who to reach out to get in. Without the help of another guest we really don’t know that we have to use whatsapp to reach out to the property manager.

the location was excellent and the noise level during our week stay was fine - although I can see why it would not suit everyone. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the shower had a good temperature and pressure. The towels were of decent quality and some toiletries were provided. It was nice and clean.

The room was smaller than expected and the stairs to the 3rd floor are steep and narrow - again, it may not be suitable tricky for some.The biggest issue was the Wi-Fi didn't work. I raised it immediately, and after chasing a couple of times I was told the night before we left that it was a 'costly repair'. Given the previous Wifi comments going back months, it would appear the hosts are not in a hurry to repair it. A deal-breaker in this day-and-age I'm afraid. The bathroom was also a little smellyAll-in-all, decent accommodation but not value for money without working wi-fi

How central the property was around to public landmarks. Proximity to good restaurants.

The apartment was very clean, with good facilities and in a great location.

Gaining access to the apartment key was confusing. This could be made much clearer by providing the lock box code and not using an link (which didn't open).

Only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 2 people for 6 nights. No dish cloth or kitchen papper.
