Pros +
- The best was the location. Our room and several others (there are only 7 rooms!) looked across the beautiful Orient Plaza and out onto the Royal Palace. It is close to everything-museums, metros, shopping, cathedral, etc.
- The location and the very caring and helpful staff
- the location is great
Cons -
- It can be a bit noisy. Squeeky flooring means you can hear every step when one is going up or down the stairs. Also, other interior noises travel a bit too well. There is little noise from the street, however.
- To be sincere, nothing. Everything was perfect! Thank you for everything. Muchas gracias por todo! Lo pasamos sÃÂúper:)
- The bathroom in my specific room was a bit small. I have stayed in this hotel a lot and this is the first time that I stayed in this particular room with the small bathroom...useable but smaller than I am accustomed to.

The bathroom in my specific room was a bit small. I have stayed in this hotel a lot and this is the first time that I stayed in this particular room with the small bathroom...useable but smaller than I am accustomed to.
The location was right across from the Palace Real, right in the heart of a touristy area full of shopping and restaurants. Public transit was nearby, which made the Oriente Palace a great hub for our Madrid travel. The room itself was clean, had a view overlooking the square (though the Palace was mostly obscured by trees), and with the wood ceiling beams, chandelier, and wooden floorboards felt like a historic building with character.
Absolutely lovely location within a stone's throw from the Palace! Amenities and staff were lovely, and it was easy to communicate and sort out with staff after a booking confusion on my end.
Super location, right across from Royal Palace and lots of nearby food/drink options.
The apartment is just opposite palace and metro just 300meter away. The room are big enough and have small table for breakfast
Great location and view of the palace and nice staff!
Very worn and tired room & the bed was hard as a rock, the pillows too firm and no pillow covers (yuck, had to ask for extra pillow cases), the bedding worn and cheap, no comforter, just a light cover in a cheap cotton sheet like cover. Not cozy whatsoever. The lighting was bright fluorescent bulbs in these gorgeous chandeliers. Would suggest soft white bulbs to cozy up the space a bit. The tiles were falling off the walls of the moldy shower, the shower curtain very cheap & stuck to you, the sink had been painted over the porcelain and the paint peeling, cheap toiletries, and thin, worn towels.
Staff , location and cleanliness
Amazing accommodation in the prime location. It was clean, super cozy and quiet.Mariana ensured I have everything needed on my short stay. I’ll definitely go back when in Madrid.
Everything was perfect
The location was perfect. The hotel is surrounded by cafes, bars, restaurants and places of interest including the Palace. We got an Uber to the hotel and it was easy to get to. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice. He told us that we had been upgraded and that the room was decorated for our anniversary. The was some towel art and some wine, which we enjoyed. Lovely spacious and clean apartment with a sitting area and good water pressure in the shower. There was a kettle and tea, coffee, milk and sugar sachets. It is an old renovated hotel apartment, so you can hear everyone walking on the wooden floor boards outside, above and below you and we took care of being mindful when we tiptoed around. We had a lovely view over the park. Breakfast the next morning at a cafe arranged by the hotel was just ok for us. Service took forever and we got the wrong order (salmon instead of bacon), so breakfast was cold when it came back. We found another brunch restaurant just around the corner for the next breakfast and that was just perfect. We walked everywhere and really enjoyed the location and the friendly and helpful staff. We´ll be back!!
We were told that the mini bar was free, however, it was completely empty when we checked in. I did ask at reception the next morning and when we came back to our room, it was filled with some wine and water. Some guests watched TV until 05h30m, so we didn´t sleep for both the nights. It wasn´t overly loud, but we could hear the talking and music, so that wasn´t great. Horrible stench from the sink in the bathroom.
Location was great
The room feels very cheap, shower especially. The room was smelly, window had to be open all the time. Some cheap furnishing details that makes up a nice looking photo are really bad in real life. They call it an apartment, but there is nothing of apartment to it. Just a cheap hotel room experience.
Location
Am not sure if its the wood floor or the chemicals use for cleaning, but theres kinda smell of some sort. The room is clean and presentable. Only that sort that will be nice if check.
From the minute, we walked into the pretty lobby and were graciously greeted by Mariana, we felt welcome to have a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Prior to our arrival, she communicated very clearly with helpful information and tips. She showed us up to our comfortable room on the first floor with french doors on a balcony and a lovely window that both opened and looked out over the manicured park and the Royal Palace. The room was tastefully decorated with a crystal chandelier on the ceiling, a sitting area at the window, and a fantastic bathroom. It even had a magnifying mirror on the wall.Housekeeping came every day with fresh towels linens and coffee, water, etc.The café/restaurant below has an arrangement with the hotel for a €10 breakfast. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful and the service is superb. Our hearty and delicious breakfast kept us going until late lunch every day.If you note the word, “beautiful” has been used over and over, it’s because that’s what our experience was at Oriente Palace Apartments!
We had a problem with the WiFi passwords, but after several options given to us by reception we finally got it to work.
Such magical boutique antique apartment, it’s very clean and very magical. We enjoyed our stay especially because of the location. It is conveniently located near the grand palace and a quick walk to the gran vía. I highly recommend it given that the apartment is very specious it is about 40 m and the view is insanely beautiful. Marianne from the reception and the other receptionist “forget her name” are amazing. Very very friendly and helpful.
Not a single thing we didn’t like about this place?
The location is absolutely unbeatable—right in the heart of Madrid, steps from the Royal Palace and surrounded by beautiful streets, cafés, and attractions. The classic Spanish-style design gives the place a charming, historic feel that made the stay memorable.
The building definitely shows its age: creaky floors, thin walls, and a very small, slow elevator. The property also lacks some common hotel amenities you’d expect from a modern 3–4 star hotel.
We stayed in an apartment on the 4th floor. The views over the Palace and gardens are tranquil and lovely. Those views, the spaciousness of the apartment, and the convenience to tourist destinations are a highlight, together with kitchen facilities. When I read reviews, the coffee preparation options were unclear, but in our room we found both an electric tea kettle and a coffee pod machine, which we appreciated. The room also had oil/vinegar/salt/sugar, which is a helpful baseline. There is a 24h front desk. There is also a small elevator, which is quite helpful. I love to climb stairs but the 4th floor is a lot even for me, especially after logging a bunch of km seeing the city. Also, I really liked the layout of the bathroom in our apartment, which made it comfortable for one person to shower and another to use the toilet.
In general, cleanliness was quite good. However, we found some chicken in the microwave, left presumably by the previous guest, and some dishes that had been put away dirty. Not terrible but a bit icky.
Perfect location.Friendly accommodating staffs.Comfortable bed.
WiFi needs to be upgraded
Front desk folks were great. The room was nice and comfortable. Loved that area of Madrid!
Unfortunately, they were doing construction outside. It wasn't terrible, but didn't make standing out on the balcony as enjoyable as we would have liked.
Apartment was perfect. Outstanding location, sparkling clean, comfortable beds and excellent breakfast for an amazing price. You cannot ask for more.
Nothing I can think of.
