NH Collection Madrid Gran Vía

Central location, room detail and cleanliness, and helpful staff make it a great place to stay in Madrid if you like staying in the heart of the action. Rooms were very quiet.

The staff was great, the location perfect, very quiet hotel, non smoking, great buffet breakfast for 12 euros, free WI-FI. The roof top pool and sunbathing area perfect. Overall a very nice place to spend a vacation. The price was incredible for 8 nights.

Not much, however the room was very small, which I expected, but had a balcony over looking the Gran Via, It came as no surprise.

Air condition did not work, was really hot night time and we could'n open the window , because traffic was 24/7

I like the fact that is with in walking distance to most of the historic locations in the city center. The hotel is very near the Gran Via train station and I found it very convenient when I needed to take the train.

I think the room was a bit small.

Very special, the staff was wonderful, and in particular, a very handsome person at reception (I don't remember his name) was truly amazing. The place was clean, and the reception and hospitality were excellent.

Location was excellent. It was central to all the main sites. Bus stop and train station were just outside the property. The rooms were clean and relatively quiet for the location.

We reserved two rooms. Both "premium with a Gran Via view". One room was excellent. The other room, a "01" room, was, in my opinion, an awful room. It had a long "L" shaped hallway that took up probably 25% of the floor space, and the bathroom was long and narrow. The hotel classifies the "01" rooms as premium but in speaking unofficially with some hotel staff, it is far from premium. Anyway, after one night, the hotel was able to switch me, with minimal hassle, out of this dreadful room into a "real premium room". What a relief!

Very clean, helpful staff and great location. Breakfast had a wide variety. Amenities in the room were good (coffee, tea etc.).

The hotel's sky bar is a bit pricey.

Clean, centrally located hotel right next to the Gran Vía metro station. Everything in Central Madrid is within walking distance.
